Fallout 3 DLC Trophies show up in player profiles

New trophies tied to the downloadable content for Fallout 3 have appeared on player profiles recently, leading some to ~~pray with all their might~~ believe Bethesda could release the content early. Originally planned for a late-June release, the first of Fallout 3's DLC was delayed by Bethesda to the "end of September." Whether the appearance of the trophies signify an early release for the DLC or not, it appears the content is just around the corner for those clamoring for an excuse to revisit the Wasteland.

Whenever it releases, the first downloadable content for the PlayStation 3 version of Fallout 3 will be the level-raising adventure 'Broken Steel' -- originally the third DLC pack for Xbox 360 users. If Fallout 3 has yet to make its way into your library and you're the inquisitive type, you can check out the new trophy listing [via Kotaku] after the break.

Not to be a troll or anything, but Halo was supposed to release in 1999.... on a Mac. And it was leagues above fallout at the time.

The first fallout game came out in 1997 and featured the same power armor you are claiming they ripped off from Halo. Halo came out in 2001.........

Also, the original Fallout (which includes the power armor mentioned, if there's any doubt) predates Halo by about 4 years...

Advice aside you're one to talking about Sony copying Microsoft, RPG'S are what made PS1 popular in 1994 so some jackass from M$ with more money than sense just chucked money at Square to secure a game that will make that piece of crap 360 blow up anyway.

I'm sorry. I loved Fallout 3 a lot, I mean so much so I didn't understand how much time I was actaully logging each game, when I looked back it made me sick. If gaming full time was a occupation, I had clocked overtime. Now, I have a HUGE beef with these upcoming DLC. I for one would have been excited beyond belief had Betheseda conducted themselves a bit differently. First off, when anyone inquired about potential DLC for the PS3, they said **** to the extent, "It can't be done." "No comment" etc etc. In the end it was clear Microsoft throw money down their pants and said screw PS3 owners. Then when a date was nearing, they screw it up and delay when by now EVERYTHING should have been set and ready to go. There is no excuse for how bad they've been releasing the DLC for PS3 owners. Truthfully, after having seen all the videos etc, the game has become irrelvant. I will not be putting my money towards this, unless Bethesda throws us some nice deal to make peace, but I for one am not happy.

Is Fallout 3 worth buying? I really like the Elder scrolls, is the world as open as it is?

Its basically the same as Elder Scrolls just not as much stuff to do as the game is really short but has plenty of side missions just incase you finish the main quest missions. Not as opened as Elder Scrolls was but its good.

If you liked Elder Scrolls, you will like Fallout. Its like Elder scrolls in post-apocoliptia...but I think it is better but thats just my opinion

When people say it's "Oblivion with guns", they really aren't all to far off. The Capital Wastes on Fallout 3 are A LOT smaller than Oblivion, but that's because you cant fast travel every where and there are no mounts. It's all foot work.

It is a pretty fun game. Ate up about 30 hours of my life on my "Do everything I can" character.

Is it worth buying? Yeah, it's probably worth buying. However, it just didn't do it for me the same way Oblivion did when it was released. I know a lot of people that are bat shit crazy about this game and swear it's the best game this gen. I just couldn't get into it like that. It never really grabbed me I played through it before they did the trophy patch and tried to go back and play it again but after a few hours put the controller down and opted for something fun instead.

Yeah, and Microsoft's really big on original ideas too, right? Like how the marketing guys decided to change the name of the Xbox 2 to Xbox 360 just b/c they didn't want the number on it to be smaller than the "3" in ps3. Or how they currently have to rip off every single feature from Mac OS X and try to incorporate it into their operating system...

Very old, Jad. These trophies were added to the servers nearly 2 weeks ago, if not more. At any rate, as impatient as I am for the DLC and as much as I love Fallout 3 (140+ hours without DLC and counting), I'm waiting for the GOTY Edition.

By the time all the DLC releases, starting in late September, the GOTY Edition comes within the first few weeks of October.

Am I the only person who remembers "Who Dares Wins?" Because if you do, then I'll give ya' fifty caps.

What I dont get is that the GOTY edition is coming out the first week of October so that means that they are probibly already printing those disks in order for them to be ready for retail by the first week of October. If that is the case then WHY cant we download the dlc already? By the time the first dlc is launched on the PS store the GOTY edition will follow it by one week. That doesnt make any sense. If they are going to start releasing the DLC, they better do it NOW cause if they dont start this week then they will never get them all out before the GOTY edition unless they release ALL of them at once which would be really nice. If they launch One piece of DLC right before the launch of the GOTY edition and I find out they will not have all the dlc out before the GTOY edition launches, I will be skipping this because that will be the final slap in the face and I am really tired of taking it the hard way from Bethesda because I decided to buy a PS3
