Tip, there's only "Sonic and Knuckles", it had a built-in slot at the top that you could plug in Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3 into, which would let you play as Knuckles through 2 and 3, and of course, unlock the 3D minigame of Blue Spheres with 1.

@devilsei

It was more than that for sonic 3 though. Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles were originally supposed to be one game, but they decided to split it up into two.

When you plug in 3 you get more than the ability to play as knuckles in sonic 3, which is what happens in sonic 2. The title changes to "Sonic 3 and Knuckles" The campaigns blend together and you can start from the beginning in sonic 3 with any character (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, or Sonic and Tails) and play till the end of sonic and knuckles, you have to get all the chaos emeralds twice to be hyper sonic/knuckes/tails.

Reply fail. That was supposed to go to the thread below, with the annoying asshole who thinks we don't know what Halo is, and also believes that A comment has to be an essay.

Really? Mine was Pokémon Red for Gameboy Color. I'm only 15, so, uh... yeah.
I still have memories of playing Ocarina of Time at a store when it was released in 1999(?). OoT's the best game ever. Opinions?

Good thing that your first game wasn't shitty then, you were lucky. :)

You know, for the longest time, I could never beat the boss in the 3rd world. I think I'll have to pick this up to get over my fears.

Same with Sonic 3, I always seem to get stuck in the 5th world. This was back before the internet of course.

Sandopolis zone? If your talking about the first half of the level, there's no way to actually kill the boss. You have to knock him into the sand.

How is that the boss you couldn't beat? He just stands there until you hit him. Or jumps over you.

I don't need a redone version of the game. Just port it over to XBLA, slap a $5 price tag on it, and I'm sold!
