Rather than be way boring and send out a press release (though Capcom did that too), we've got the full faux commercial you see above, hilariously detailing the bonus; though a bit of gameplay of the jetpack can be found on the promo's website.

Me neither,I never liked my Gears of War 2 Golden Weapons.I only use them for horde mode,sometimes.
Is it just me but don't the golden weapons drag more attention to yourself? That isn't good online.

one time, i walked in, and they said that a MW2 multiplayer beta would be a preorder bonus eventually, but i think they were just desperate for a preorder since that's pretty unlikely.

What about a gold helmet?
A really big gold helmet that you can impress the girls with. Anyone can get a gold jetpack, flash a gold tooth or wave around their gold plated Glock but you just don't see anyone waving around their shiny gold helmet in public.
And a gold penis would be cool too.

Seriously, screw the hardcore. They label themselves as "elite" and "hardcore" to give themselves this false sense of superiority, but look at the rubbish they swallow down every year.
Gamestop sees these people for what they really are, suckers.

Of course, in order to figure that out, we'd have to know how much they are paying the developers to get these bonuses in the first place.

Well actually the Gold lancer looks good in the menu but very lame in the game,I think the Hammerburst looks better in Gold but people with Golden weapons aren't very good at the game but is just a personal opinion.

That was a system accident and Erm according to MS all the people who downloaded the lancers that way got theirs removed form the game.Then again I'm sure someone got away with it.
