Sweet, I loved Okami on the PS2, although it went on a little too long for my taste. Can't wait to play this with the stylus. I wish this was a new Wii sequel though.

I never said I was a fanboy, I said I bought a system that I thought would have games I want on it. Is it so terrible that I don't want to go out and buy 5 consoles? I don't think it's unreasonable to buy a system that is the most likely to have games you like. Had I thought the XBox would have all the games I want, or the Wii I would have bought either one. It just sucks seeing games you enjoy being unplayable because they switched the platform on you.

Wow, that's really surprising.

It's too bad Clover isn't actually developing it, though.

And the colors look too saturated.

I'd laugh if it was prerendered backgrounds like REmake on gamecube. Though I'd still be all over this because it's Okami, shoot I don't care if it was a visual novel ffs.

Prerended backgrounds would probably be the smart way to go, though.
However, judging by the 3 screens above, that likely isn't the case since, unlike RE, the game is set in a huge outside world and has multiple camera angles.
That seems to suggest it's full on 3D.

I found Okami to be an amazing game [on the PS2], and it also had the perfect length. I hope this version holds up....

Now, where is my next Advance Wars :D

As much as I love Okami and love my DSLite, I can't help but feel a little disappointed to see this beautiful game is not coming to a console. I don't care if it's a Wii, PS3, or 360- I just think there's so much potential. One positive thing- the painting will be a no-brainer on DS.

They just don't want the game to bomb in sales.

....... the DS never lets anyone down supposedly.

I'm sure from a development cost and sales perspective this is a no-brainer. But still... Okami in 720p. My heart yearns.

AHHH! Now I have to finally finish my time machine! I just need to solve the pickle matrix and the whole ability to move freely through a river of theoretical increments we call time!

I hate when sequels jump between handhelds and consoles... This should be on the Wii.
