Gaming underwear for the truly hardcore

Been shopping at Target lately? Did you know they have an entire rack devoted to video game underwear? Yes, you read that right: Video. Game. Underwear. Included in the bunch are Halo, Atari, both Rock Band and Guitar Hero brands, and PS3 and Xbox 360 controllers, all available for $9.99 in themed tins. Although the truly hardcore don't rock any underwear at all, right? Just like Wii players, commando is the order of the day.

Sadly, we neglected to check the women's side to see if there are female counterparts to these underpants and, secretly, we'd really love to rock a Rock Band thong. Update: we sent a secret shopper on a mission to Target and she's reported back: No gaming underwear for the ladies. You call this progress, gaming industry?

these have been around for quite a while. i picked up ps3 sleeping pants for 5.99 on sale at fye a while back. they are an awesome way to convey fanboyism :). i love mai ps3.

I don't get the PS3 themed undies, but I can certainly see how this product caters to your typical 360 fanboy age wise and mentality wise.

Oh, and don't buy them used.

Don't wear them backwards, but definitely do not wear them inside out.

i traded my halo underwear in at the gamestop.

I picked up a pair of mario boxers from Target a couple years ago. they have the 1up mushrooms all over them and it says 1UP in big white letters on the back.

Read the tin. They are "sleep shorts," not boxers. And these aren't new. But evidently your bloggers venturing outside into the sunlight is new. I got a pair of Spartan lounge pants back in March or April, but didn't think it was newsworthy. Kohls has them, and they've had them for several months, too.

People that claim to wear "D&G" and Armani underwear on a video game site may not NECESSARILY be gay, but they are douchey.

trust me there really supportive and comfy,and they aint that expensive compared to CK's,im sorry if my taste in underwear seems 'douchey' to you,but on a real note buy a pair to wear for your girlfriend because im sure she will like you in em!

I got the red Guitar Hero "sleep shorts" as a stocking stuffer last Christmas and they work as advertised but they sadly do not empower me with the power of rock. Maybe if Brutal Legend has a pair...

As a female gamer, I can safely say my boyfriend would not be impressed to pull down my jeans and find Guitar Hero panties awaiting him.

I was once flipping through a Cosmo at the grocery store while in line and was skimming an article on sex tips, and it sincerely suggested that you wear panties under your panties so that when he removes them, he'll get a sexy surprise! ... in the form of another pair of panties!

Granted, my girlfriend hates them and hates me for wearing them, and just hates video games in general, So i suppose you have a point! But really. You have not known cool until you've worn some Halo Boxers.
