She'll just use your dinglehopper to comb her hair...

We'll just see how many Disney fans are out there that get this.

@ Wiizer

I know what a dinglehopper is and I still don't get it. So she'll use my fork to comb her hair?

FYI: If you have to explain the joke, it wasn't funny.

Let's try to figure this out.

1. The bird says, "this is a dinglehopper" and is holding a fork in "The Little Mermaid". He is also referring to it being a comb.

2. Urban dictionary says that dinglehopper is also another word for small penis.

3. So now you're implying that Ariel will comb her hair with my small penis, but it could also be a fork she's combing with.

Jesus Christ, what happened to our school systems?

@HazyCloud

She actually did use the fork to comb her hair in the movie....granted, the joke wasn't that funny, but it most certainly didn't need to be explained.

I've built Sanwa and Seimitsu sticks for MvC2 and both work fine.
Besides, Happ's parts are too deep; I hate how far into the box their buttons go.

I guess you can stick with Sanwas if you have little girly fingers that can't press Happ buttons.

Happ buttons are much stiffer--much much stiffer. Happ Comp sticks tend to be stiffer too; I like when my stick fights back. Every time I've played Marvel on something Sanwa-modded I felt like I was going to break it. Maybe I wasn't actually going to break it; maybe it was going to be just fine, but I didn't like that feeling. Plus, how can you tarnish Marvel with Japanese parts? Marvel is minority America's favorite past-time; it deserves to be played on American parts.

Are you really this dense dude?
Do you think all of those Blast City cabinets in Japan have Happ parts in them? Because I can guarantee you that they DON'T. If Sanwa and Seimitsu parts couldn't cut it, then how come all of the machines in Japan use those parts and work just fine?

You like stiff buttons and stiff sticks, good for you, that's personal preference. If your initial comment said something to that effect, instead of basically badmouthing non-Happ stuff, maybe you'd be getting somewhere.

I've built with both, I've used both. I've built sticks with Happ competition pushbuttons (both convex and concave) and Happ competition sticks. My current stick is a Seimitsu-only stick. I prefer the smaller joystick "play" area of the Japanese style sticks, and the buttons are lighter and faster to push down.

The majority of SRK gamers will attest to using Sanwa or Seimitsu, largely because they require less action/movement to do what they are intended to do. I agree and that's why I prefer Japanese style parts. What I mean to say is - you have to move the stick farther on a Happ stick in order to do a 360, half circle, or quarter circle. Japanese parts, there's a smaller "play" area so you don't have to move the stick as much; it's a smaller movement. The buttons are more responsive because they are built with better microswitches that have shorter mechanisms therefore they register button presses faster. Some people say "players who rest their hands on the buttons won't like Sanwa/Seimitsu because they'll inadvertently cause a button press" and that's BS; I don't have that problem, and I don't see other people having that problem.

You are way too defensive about hardware; I'm pretty sure the hardware doesn't reciprocate your love. I'm just talking about what parts I like, and you gotta come around bashing me down. Of course they don't use American parts in Japanese cabinets; but how many people in the United States play at Japanese arcades? I still play at American arcades which have American parts, so that's what I like to use; especially for Marvel. I don't think I had to specify that it was solely my opinion because they were words I typed, so obviously they were my opinion; why would I be typing them otherwise? "In my opinion" is one of the most useless clauses in the English language.

Wow this does look nice. It's going to be a little hard to choose between this or the Tekken stick.

I just hope they have a PS3 fighting stick with a similar or the same art style.

Though I do admit, I love me some Tekken. I might as well call GameStop now and see if they have this on the PSTripl3.

Well DeepFriedSushi that's one of the main reasons why I said something similar, I mean the art isn't overall the best, I know. But it's just cool seeing an arcade stick with such a great collection of notable characters from both the Marvel and Capcom universe.

I do admit, they could have done a better job, but really at the end of the day, I'll be using it fighting sticks to simply practice on it and see if I can get better. I mostly use controller-pad to play fighting games, I only use Playstation-based type of controller pad, the D-Pad on the 360 is just horrendous, nothing personal against Xbox, it's just my opinion.

Anyways, I'm just trying to get back to the arcade stick days, I won't really be staring at the arcade stick for hours, I'll mostly be smashing and pressing on object.

Also, makimak22? what pic are you talking about. I'm talking about the pic where both Marvel and Capcom are clashing, I know that their are SF4 arcade sticks out for the PS3 already, but I've been saving up to get the Tekken 6 Arcade Stick Bundle.

I feel the same way. They're cool and all, but I could get an Arcade 360 for $30 more than a goddamn joystick. Maybe if it was 1993 again and I actually still gave a shit about fighting games, I'd consider it.

My only question is a Hori stick good with a 2D fighter. Since I would think the stick is made with 3D fighters in mind.

I'm the owner of multiple arcade sticks, including a Hori, and I can tell you that the MC TE is still better than any of the HRAPs. Other Hori's need way too much modification to be usable at the level that most fighting game players would like it at.

Thing of the past. This Hori stick is fully stocked with Sanwa parts and will only be $120. Not fancy, but functional. Comes out in October.

Seriously all you have to do is go out buy the regular Mad Catz TE stick and mod it yourself. for the exact same price you can make sure it has all the parts you want in it. with custom art and it seriously was made for modding.
