Scene It? comes to Wii, PS3 this holiday

As an added bonus, the release makes no mention of special controllers for the Wii or PS3 version of the game, so hopefully Uncle Ernie won't be able to guess the gift from the size of the package.

I might consider checking it out if I can use my buzz controllers
preciousdeath @ Sep 2nd 2009 12:24PM
Amen to that, brother.
Christ-ian @ Sep 2nd 2009 11:47AM
I actually prefer the 360 Scene It controller over the Buzz ones, so if they come out with similar versions for PS3 that are compatible with Buzz (and not IR-based), I'd be down to upgrade.

If this is the same Uncle Ernie I'm thinking of (Tommy), I wouldn't want to do anything that could be construed as a game near him.
aristokrat @ Sep 2nd 2009 11:29AM
I enjoy this series, it's a fun bit of movie trivia, if you like that kind of thing. Still need to pick up the second game though.
Markez @ Sep 2nd 2009 1:10PM
It seems that in the 2nd game it doesn't keep track of what puzzles you've seen, and repeats pop up occasionally. Just silly.
CH3BURASHKA @ Sep 2nd 2009 11:31AM
How dare they take away our biggest exclusive!
Kev (XBL: ksiddique) @ Sep 2nd 2009 11:36AM
Will this be a new game for XBOX360 or DLC for Box Office Smash?
SoulPatch @ Sep 2nd 2009 11:38AM
I love these games. I'm glad they are bringing in a new announcer though. These games are addictive and a lot of fun for movie buffs like me. My only hope a that they have a few DLC question packs.
dark_inchworm (stronger than never, ever before) @ Sep 2nd 2009 11:39AM
Bollocks. Only the 360 can harness the true power of Scene It?.
whistlepig @ Sep 2nd 2009 12:08PM
you made me laugh . thank you !
hoagie @ Sep 2nd 2009 11:48AM
My wife and I play the first and second one pretty regularly. Lot of fun, they can be found pretty cheap now, so pick them up if you haven't yet.
smak @ Sep 2nd 2009 12:16PM
HOW IS THIS XBOX 360 NEWS? God damn this blog has become shit since joining the Joystiq demons.
SpyderTaco (PSN: Ar4chNova89) @ Sep 2nd 2009 12:34PM
Scene it was on the Xbox 360.
However, I feel your pain. Blogging is very serious business.
You should start your own blog. You don't need us. Just leave.
JUNG GUNS @ Sep 2nd 2009 2:21PM
nothing reported on this site is "news". It took me a while to realize that so don't feel bad. Whenever they have nothing else to write about they will throw in some garbage like this or the famous "Xbox 360 RROD rates on the Incline/Decline" - it changes from week to week here. GO AHEAD AND DOWNVOTE ME CHUBBYCHUNKMCELROY!!
Fane [A-MF Brigade] @ Sep 2nd 2009 9:32PM
"as well as to Microsoft's box". Try reading the article before you comment.
Lucky @ Sep 2nd 2009 12:19PM
Since we already have Buzz, what's the point?
Markez @ Sep 2nd 2009 1:12PM
It's a fun and enjoyable game? If you like Buzz, you'll likely have fun with this as well?
I just hope they develop more DLC for Box Office Smash...
willxcore @ Sep 2nd 2009 2:28PM
any game on both ps3 and 360 I would prefer on ps3. However, I already have the first two Scene Its on 360 so I would probably pick up the new one on the same platform. Same thing with Call of Duty, I'm a stickler for consistency. If I could use the Buzz controllers I might switch but I doubt it..
brian.emerick @ Sep 2nd 2009 5:35PM
WTF. What happened to any more BOS DLC? One pack, that's it. This game is ripe for creating DLC. This blows.
Dan (PSNID: SnapAttack) @ Sep 2nd 2009 7:38PM
I played my friends copies of Scene It? and wasn't impressed. Buzz had all the glitz of a gameshow, the music, the eccentric host... Scene It was a boring version of Buzz with none of that (but with very lame hosts, and then they had 2 in BOS which made it even worse!)
I'll have my Buzz! Quiz World later this year, thanks.
bknight @ Sep 2nd 2009 7:51PM
I really cant see this been that successful on the PS3 with Buzz but i am pretty sure that it will go great on the WII.
Version 1.0 @ Sep 4th 2009 12:43AM
Holy shit! Do my eyes decieve me?! An Xbox 360 exclusive on the PS3?!
Henry @ Sep 3rd 2009 7:54AM
This game is really awesome specially it has a lot of fun for movie buffs...............
