Assassin's Creed 2 trailer is the most violent music video ever

This trailer is kind of radical. Much like a serial killer gyrating on a neon-lit dance floor, Ubisoft's latest Assassin's Creed 2 gameplay footage places inconspicuous murder at the center of an infectious beat. We didn't think it was possible, but the anachronistic music video actually makes new protagonist Ezio seem ... almost hip.

Also, we think he actually stabs a hip during the video.

Agreed. Justice is bomb.

But I do think it is an odd choice for a game so rooted in a historical time period. It's a similar (mis)fit to the weird affair Dragon Age: Origins has with nu metal.

Yes, I remember the time I traveled back in time through MY genetic memory jogging machine. This song should be more historically accurate to the date in which animi became commonly used, which must have been some time before July 12, 2007...

In my opinion, Stress is the worst song of the album and it's the only one that I don't like. Too much noise, I guess that the song does 'stress' me.

It's got a certain ring to it, but I understand why many people don't like the voice.

I've already seen the music video but I still don't like the song. The video IS badass though, I think it even caused quite a stir in France due to all the past riots there.

I seem to remember being swayed to buy Prince of Persia simply because of two trailers that used music by Sia and Sigur Ros.
Clearly someone at Ubisoft's trailer-making-department has good taste in music... and a lot of money for licensing costs.

Fight Club wasn't really all that violent. I think only one dude actually died in the movie. If my memory serves me, his name was Robert Paulson.

That video just screams badass, I remember I got a job at a clothing store just so I could get a leather jacket with my employee discount. Then after buying it, I figured I would take it to a monogram store just so I could get the cross on my jacket, just like the teens in the video.
