Funnily enough, it's not. Just four levels that you complete in under 2 hours. Some replayability in the achievements though, and 800 points isn't too bad.

that was the creepiest thing in a game ever. Not really scary or frightening on the BOO level, but deeply unsettling

this looks pretty sweet, i really enjoyed FEAR 2 a lot, i just wish they'd progress the damn story instead of looping around a dozen times with "different character at same time". Hope this brings back a little life to the multiplayer too

I want to see a direct sequel to FEAR 1, not this FEAR 2 play as a different character garbage. This better not happen with Crysis 2 either!

Bought this game when it went on sale for $25 at Gamestop. If I had paid a penny more I would've been disappointed. It's fun.. don't get me wrong. But it's so generic I got bored A LOT while playing and had to switch to another game (mainly TF2) too feel some excitement

To bad the MP is dead so now they gotta figure out ways to get people to keep playing this game. Monolith Screwed the pooch so if this aint free i aint bothering. Big FU to Monolith from my end.

They brought back the Slow-Mo and the game rocks a lot more now on multiplayer.

As for the DLC well, unless you're a diehard FEAR fan, don't bother. Otherwise, you've been anticipating this and you will not be disappointed.

No kidding. Highest difficulty was a joke on FEAR 2. FEAR 1's highest difficulty, on the other hand, was insane.

extreme difficulty on fear 1 was NOTHING compared to the instant action maps and perseus mandate campaigns on fear files. to this day they are my proudest achievements.

the demo for this was surprisingly good, they've done a great job of adding some variety in terms of environment, tactical surroundings, and scripted dialogue. will probably get this.

DLC is awesome as expected. I think it's cool that they put the effort for more single player content. It would be pointless for more multiplayer maps since no one plays it. The first fear had better multiplayer... but single player is more impressive than most other shooters. killzone/ halo/ resistance/ call of duty got nothing on this shizzle, well nothing aside from multiplayer that is... which apparently is most important in fps games sadly enough... but I hope this sells well, maybe other games will start adding story based dlc like this (for fps's).

Slow Mo wont save the dedicated-less server game. Multiplayer is still screwed. Anti-cheatless game to doesn't help at all.
