Hey, it is possible the Sony is making a Pokemon game for the PS3 and their new logo is the WiiWare logo. Think outside the box, man.

This is what I thought. It looks like it runs in the Zelda: Phantom Hourglass engine.

Leave it to Japan to invent hundreds of bizarre super powered animals, a setting wherein they battle for fun and profit, a series of series based on the adventures of trainers of said animals, and then turning the whole thing into mecha anyway.

I will only buy this if it comes with a Japanese announcer yelling the play by play.

I'm just surprised that it's a Nintendo-published WiiWare game. They've really not shown much initiative in that arena themselves, despite the fact that the service has done quite well for itself otherwise (mostly due to the Nicalis, High Voltage, 2D Boy, and Hudson support)

Also: I'd really wish they'd announce a date for Spirit Tracks already. Rumor out of the GameStop Managers' Convention (where the date for Wii Fit + and confirmation of the newer colors came from) is that NSMBWii is Nov 2nd, or 3rd, and i really want Spirit Tracks to be in October, and time runs short...

My problem is that it's on the level of the minigames that were included in the Stadium titles. And at least there you could bring in your own Pokemon. Asking $15 for this is a bit much.
Why not just give us a new Stadium game, instead of stripping the game down and selling all these extra minigames and Pokemon storage utilities as seperate games?

We all feel your pain, dood. Given the sheer number of Pokemon present at once in Ranch, they needed the low-key models to keep from overtaxing video memory. I take it that same principle applies here.
As for everyone asking for a new Stadium game, yeah, we'd kinda like something that's more filling than Battle Revolution. Orre on Wii or something similar, perhaps?

This is not what I imagined when I said that Nintendo should release a real Pokemon fighting game

Yeah, I know...
I totally imagined it with some hot chick.
... no wait, I think Torchic is there, nevermind.

Aaaaah the old pokemon, reminds me of my childhood, the first 151 were the best ones (I still conserve all my pokemon toys, cards, etc), too bad they ran out of originality with the pokemons after G/S/C.
The game looks fun, and if I can play using old pokemons, and provided it's not too expensive for what it is, I may play it.

Anything that takes Pokemon out of menu-based battles is cool with me!
... I loved Pokemon, and thought the menu-battles were cool... but seriously, I'm getting quite tired of it.
...let's just have a Super Smash Pokemon...
...Street Pokemon? O_o

Because it could technically make normal console-versions completely obsolete...
...Monster Rancher became an MMO. Ever since then, not a single traditional Monster Rancher game has been made.
A Pokemon MMO that follows the same traditional rules except turned MMO could make any future traditional releases be rather... dull.

its interesting to me! its like a real time pokemon battle, instead of the turn based that it usually is. i've always wondered what it would be like to actually dodge an attack like they did in the tv show. they should try to implement the tactics from the show into a game more.

The Pokemon Rumble has better graphics even better than Pokemon Ranch, it seems to retain the style of its big brother, however, to differ with the emergence of new gameplay elements. game takes advantage of the WiiConnect24 system. Another mode called Battle Royal, where you will achieve the same kind of games in a closed arena. You unlock progressively as fighting other Pokemon and collect coins that allow you to unlock others, but also to buy new technology. In order to participate in the Battle Royal you need certain strength for more see here http://www.techarena.in/guide/17973-pokemon-rumble-walkthrough-tips-cheats.htm
