I'm angrier at the responses than the original post. At least the guy corrected himself when he realized his mistake instead of either continuing to defend his position or disappearing like a bitch like 99% of the people who lose an online argument do.

out of curiosity, my ps3 just ylod'd me yesterday. i'm gonna send it to sony, but i have a game in there, and i can't get it out. force eject doesn't work because the system doesn't stay on that long. Any suggestions?

Maybe this will work: Put the PS3 in stanby mode(Red Light), but instead of turning it on with the controller or the power button, press the eject button. It will turn the PS3 on ejecting the disc at the same time.

theyll send you back the game more likely than not, my buddy's system died with a disc in it and they sent it back in a sleeve along with the refurb system.

Don't worry, there's a form that you print and ship with your system, on the form they ask if your PS3 has some kind of CD media inside. They'll ship back with your new system.

My Tomb Raider Underworld was stuck just like your game and I got it back.

@Jocaju

Your PS3 broke because you had that game in it. It was trying to teach you a lesson about playing bad games. It killed itself for your own benefit. And you undid all its work by getting a new one and probably playing it again. It's a sad waste of a Playstations life, it is.

I have officially forgotten that there's a game called Trine. I'll be really surprised one day when Trine comes out and I buy it. That'll be a crazy Thursday.

That's the next PSN release I'm really excited for as well. I played the demo on PC which was awesome but this game I'd much rather play on my PS3.

I once downloaded a demo of that Rocketman: Axis of Evil. Let me tell you about possibly the worst game I have ever played...

I was to quick to type that Space Giraffe was the worst decision I've ever made when purchasing a downloadable game a few weeks ago (I actually kind of like Space Giraffe!), Rocketmen: Axis of Evil is the axis of awful as far as I'm concerned. For some reason or another I was so very much looking forward to the game that I threw caution to the wind and purchased the full version without a demo...

It wouldn't be so terrible if it didn't auto scroll and you could jump to dodge bullets. They even bothered releasing DLC for the game and never bothered to patch this glaring oversight in game design.

Most of the games on there are pretty disappointing. 1942 is probably the best Capcom property there, and it's a pretty fun game, it's just really lackluster. Commando 3 was entirely forgettable, and IMO, Puzzle Fighter is a terrible port/remake. SSF2THDR and Age of Booty are both fantastic though, and Flock! considerably enjoyable when you knock of the extra $5 asking price. This would be a great deal if they'd ditch some of the trash in favor of Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

they need to look at the pricing for the dynamic themes.. 3 bucks? how about 1.50? sounds more reasonable to me.

Well, a lot of the regular premium themes are $1.50. Also, all of these dynamic themes are fully rendered in 3D.

You have to scroll down in the main list. Don't open the Premium Themes button. That just has the 2D stuff. They're right next to the Invincible Tiger rubbish.

IMO it's all about the actual theme whether the price is worthwhile or not.
Since it's would be quite possible to make a crappy dynamic theme. Look at the NXE theme's there's a lot of crap that's labeled premium.

It all comes down to personal preference in the end I suppose though.

It's a shame I already have so many of the Capcom games that it wouldn't be worth me buying the bundle. They should have a make your own bundle version where you select whatever games you want for $20. They can tier the games off into different sections or whatever.

I can't wait for an Uncharted 2 or Killzone 2 dynamic theme. I bought the LBP one and it's cool but I'm not interested in PJM, Pain, HVB or any of the other themes. A dynamic Burn Zombie Burn theme would be pure tits.

Even better. I would take a VC theme as well. Did they ever get around to adding trophy support for that game? Basically, I wouldn't mind one of these cool themes for a game I really like and has a cool visual style. The LBP one is pretty tight but I wish Sackboy did more than run and jump in place. Somehow I messed around and purchased the bowling game them. It wasn't intentional. I think I had it on there and previewed it and was watching TV with the PS3 and must of hit the controller or something. The bowling game theme is fucking retarded (as you would might imagine) and I'm pissed. If I had a choice in the matter and had to accidentally get a theme the damn Pixel Junk one would have been better. I'm over it. I'll put that damn bowling theme on and force myself to enjoy it!

Where are the new avatars? I'm sick of the old-ass avatars we've had for three years now and it's about time Sony updated them. C'mon, Sony, at least give us a tease by including SOME in the 3.0 update a few days ago :(

While I'm not interested in either bundle, I think it's great that Capcom is introducing the idea of multi-game bundles. The PSN needs more ways to purchase items at less than their release prices, whether that means price drops over time, greatest hits, temporary sale prices, or bundles (as with retail games). There are a ton of games I would buy, but not at current prices (too much risk I won't play them enough to make it worth the price).

Yeah thats true but there is really less risk than a normal game if you think about it because they cost so much less. I've gotten more playtime out of Burn Zombie Burn and Super Stardust HD than any other game this generation including Rock Band, Guitar Hero and MGS 4 which I went all out for the big boss play through. I guess my point is that I agree with you in that these bundles are an awesome value proposition for the consumer.

Basically, even though I own probably 70 or more retail PS3 games and I think 55 or so PSN games I would take 4-5 PSN games over one new super col retail game. I just seem more entertained by the simplicity of the old school type games on PSN.

I also don't usually buy retail games at full price, unless I expect to play them for dozens or even hundreds of hours.

I agree that there's less risk for these cheaper games, which is kind of my point: if I can buy four PSN games for $20, the odds that I'll really like one of them is much higher than if I can only get two. Plus, it's much easier to get $5 worth of play from a game you don't love than $10.

I've bought echochrome, PJ Eden, and Savage Moon for $5 each and haven't really played them enough to merit $10. The only PSN game I've already played enough to merit its cost is Go! Sudoku.

Also, I'm not really a fan of old-school arcade games, so even something as patently awesome as SSHD wouldn't really get much of my time.
