What's the best way to get in at the ground level? That sounds terrible, even after you already picked up a Computer Animation degree.

The feeling I get from people in the industry I've met is that it doesn't seem to be a happy place for work, at least if you're not of rockstar grade in the industry.

I mean, the coders. People I met were all coders and they seem to be angry and unhappy. I guess I would be too if I were underpaid and overworked.

Well, the rules say "To appear on the Program, you must be 21 years of age or older by September 3, 2009" so you can apply all you like if you don't care about being rejected.

It's a very shameful job.

Son/daughter: "Hey dad, where do you work?"

Dad: "I test video games hunny/buddy"

Son/daughter: "oh..." *my friend's dad is a busniness owner and my dad tests video games...oh well Im gonna lie to my friends now and tell them my dad owns a business*

you see how bad this job is, not only this but you dont get paid that good. For myself I'm currently in Grade 12 and next year im goin to study Aircraft Mechanic and I'll see my kids proud of their father when they grow up, by that time I'll be more higher than a Mechanic.

I can't believe that this is going to be a show. II agree with all the comments about low pay and how that job isn't going to be fun. Plus think about that as your job all day, are you really going to want to come home and play more no. It will take the fun right out of it.

$10-$12 an hour isn't that bad. Did they word that wrong or do you have to be at least 22 to enter that?

I think Id rather play games than watch a TV show of people playing or testing games.
