I've always thought that Jerry looked like Dr Bunsen Honeydew from the Muppet Show.

Except all three function differently. And PS3's motion controller and 360's Natal are both years away.

Not to mention, I doubt a small studio like Hothead has the time and resources to devote to learning two brand new technologies (assuming they already know Wii, maybe they don't) that are not cross-platform (in essense, developing three seperate games).

I would just like to say I don't understand that fascination with this lame comic/event.

Now you may commence downvoting.

I refute your basic premise that Penny Arcade is lame, but you know what? That's immaterial.

PAX isn't really about PA anyway; I'm sure they're regretting the name. It's a gamer convention. It's a nerd convention. It's a place where many gamers are congregating and where many game developers are exhibiting. It was the E3 while E3 wasn't being E3, and some developers see PAX as still being the preferred convention. In the past, some have even made announcements there. And that makes it worth covering, regardless of how you feel about PA itself.

And, drifting into the realm of speculation for a moment, I suspect there's also an element of challenge and excitement for the journalists themselves. Because PAX isn't run nearly as much in lock-step as many of the other expos throughout the year, covering it is more like the wild west. You have to be in the right place at the right time to hear a juicy gaming news tidbit drop, and those places and times are not known beforehand.

"Now you may commence with downvoting"

Well, that would be the appropriate response to an obvious troll. Would it not?

@T

Actually, the appropriate response, and one that not enough of you think of, is just to ignore him. The whole point of trolling is the get a rise. If no rise happens, he'll go away. Or try again, in which case, you already know what to do.

(It's still ignore him)

They said not coming at PAX.

Why would they say this if they're having it as part of the Omegathon? Just to contradict themselves?

My prediction? It's further down the line.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict that the game is going retail. They're holding off on the announcement because they're going to announce a retail disc with all three episodes and eisode three is going to be like, twice or three times as long as the previous ones.

I call shenanigans! I saw Mike Krahuliak yesterday at PAX, and he had no beard! I also saw him last Saturday, and he had no beard. And yet, in the photo at the top of this posting, he has a beard!

Unless the usual rules of time and space don't apply on the internet. Who knew?
