- Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): Arkham Asylum on "Hard." Such an excellent game. Completed all the Predator challenges with full batarangs, but it doesn't appear I have the skills to get three batarangs on the fighting challenges.
- Andrew Yoon (@scxzor): Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah ... BATMAN!!!! Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah...
Oh, and Borderlands. - Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): Finishing up this Batman simulator and delving into the ten millionth Guitar Hero game. Elliott Smith! Kings of Leon! Hooray!
- Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): [Trying to solve The Riddler's puzzles.]
- David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): [On a date with Harley Quinn]
- Dustin Burg (@SuperDunner): Traveling and doing the PAX thing.
- Griffin McElroy (@griffinmcelroy): I'll be playing all the cool games that won't be out for another week! You are so jealous. What? You aren't?
- James Ransom-Wiley: You will not stump me Riddler!
- JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): I've heard that a copy of Muramasa: The Demon Blade is on its way to me. So, uh, maybe I'll check that incredibly gorgeous game out.
- Justin McElroy (@JustinMcElroy): I'm going to be playing Champions Online and with Griffin in Seattle, I need a team. Add suttsteve@justinmcelroy or HG Wells@justinmcelroy and lets FIGHT SOME CRIME. (And yes, HG Wells was a super hero. Everybody knows that.)
- Kevin Kelly (@gadgetguy): I'm heading to PAXitania this weekend, so I'll be gaming on games still yet to come, including the exclusive "Room With Griffin".
- Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): Having completed Batman: Arkham Asylum, I'll continue the badass-in-a-suit trend by revisiting Samus in Metroid Prime Trilogy.
- Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin): A little song, a little dance, playing the Batman game in my comfy pants? That, and I'll probably stare at the Japanese PS Store's dynamic Afrika XMB theme for far too long. (But it's SO pretty!)
- Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM): By the time you read this, I'll be at PAX, so I'll be abandoning all journalistic pursuits and playing Diablo III for approximately three days straight. Feel free to stop by and say hi. I'll be the guy that snaps at you when you try to take my mouse away. Oh, also, if you see Chris Grant, don't tell him where I am, okay?
- Xav de Matos (@Xav): It's another weekend of inFamous and Batman: Arkham Asylum for me!
- Justin Glow (@justinglow): (Our Oracle)

If it feels like there's been a lot of game conventions lately ... well, that'd be absolutely right. GamesCom and BlizzCon occurred at the same time a couple weeks back, with PAX going on this weekend in Seattle and, finally, Tokyo Game Show in a few weeks. Tis the convention season. Check out all our PAX coverage over the weekend for the latest info on the games we should have in our Doritos encrusted hands this holiday -- or Q1 2010. What's everyone playing this weekend?

Well I traded in my PSP the other day and preordered Ratchet. After having a DS and PSP both for less than a year at a time, I've fully realized that handheld gaming just isn't for me.
Other than that, I'm playing the waiting game. I have Uncharted 2, MW 2, Assassin's Creed 2, and Ratchet paid off and I'm working on Borderlands. Don't really have much to actually play right now.

Peggle, and the continuation of the Final Fantasy marathon. I'm up to VIII, which is my personal favorite.

It's your favorite because it's clearly the best. Gunblade? Check. Badass sniper/ladies man? Check. Invisible city? Check. Of course it does have that stupid I-guess-we-just-forgot plot twist, but I will still defend it till the day I die.

Honestly, it's because I'm a sucker for a good romance subplot.

Dragon Quest V is truly fantastic!
Dissidia is ok. In all honesty I'm finding it hard to get through every single characters story. The fighting system they set up is cool but I find it gets old pretty quick. Also the story annoys me and seems unnecessary. I do commend them on the massive amount of fan service they fit in to the game for us final fantasy fans though.

I'll get Crisis Core instead. That'll help pass the time until we get Birth By Sleep.

I'm not sure if you would enjoy it... it is still in beta, so there are some glitches to be ironed out. Also, every couple of weeks, they reset the stats and all your inventory goes away. I would wait for the polished version, and don't pay for Qore.
@Saihna
I don't enjoy ALL FPS's, but Bioshock sounds like such an amazing story, I couldn't resist!

Wiizer, i'm not much of an FPS fan either but Bioshock is honestly a really fun and addicting game, bit creepy, but amazing fun nonetheless, I didn't really beat it (I rented it) but it's one of those games that makes other games less fun, in a way. xD that sounded stupid...

Lost Odyssey. That's it. I'm so close to the end of the game that I can taste it. In case you're wondering, it tastes just like Popeye's fried chicken, dirty rice, battered fries, and sweet tea. Once I clear that, I might just take a powder from gaming for about a week or two. Over the course of the past week and a half, I've beaten The Legend of Heroes, Batman (PS3), Final Fantasy IV (DS), and Rogue Galaxy. I'm getting a little burnt out on gaming and need to take a break. Until then, I'll be catching up on LOST and some other shows I've missed out on. Y'all have a good Labor Day weekend! Be safe and see you guys next Friday.

Well into my second week of Metroid Prime Trilogy. Prime 1 is down, 100% with a time of 8:07 (could've been shorter, but i was caught off guard by the fact that they added Fission Metroids to the Fungal Halls of Phazon Mines, and then there were three things i missed that i had to make a special trip for before i tackled Meta Ridley), and now it's on to Metroid Prime 2, which starts off so slowly compared to the original
And i found a neat Homebrew Channel app called PlayStats, which i supposed to accumulate all your play-log data from the Wii Message Board and add it up (by game, of course), but it's a little buggy, with it's claim that i've played Red Steel for over 48,000 days (when i've only played it a few hours)

Delving deep into my gaming collection for a bunch of random fun. Started up Secret of Mana because it's awesome (hopefully I can lure my bro into some co-op). Might do a Super Castlevania IV run while the SNES is set up.
Messing around with Pokemon Pinball even though I forgot just how much I suck at it. At least the rumble is still kind of cool on a GBC game.
It was trickier than I thought it would be, but I finally got a PS1 emulator working on my Wii. Even though the purpose was to take Policenauts for a spin, I'll probably just dig out the Spyro trilogy and love those games all over again.
Also, whatever other gaming happens to cross my path.

A little Donkey Kong Country, some Halo 3, and who knows what else.
Also, I'm finally seeing that annoying Dragon Age style that was brought up a day ago.
http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?profile=css21&warning=0&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.joystiq.com%2F
I know the old style wasn't too standard-compliant either, but c'mon! Your web designer started using some CSS3 a little early, and instead of using comments where appropriate just put underscores in front of some rules!
Okay, I'm done ranting now.

I usually just give out bad advice, but you are a different story. My recommendation for you is to hit the bottle before you go into work tomorrow. It'll kill off the virus and make you feel like a million bucks.

I've gotten to that point where I've purchased more games than I can play right now. Fallout 3, Burnout Paradise, inFamous, Top Spin 3, and TF2 are all waiting to be played by me. With MW2, Ratchet and Clank, and many other solid titles coming out soon, I have to get crackin'. Fat Princess is always on the plate as well when I want to take a little break and have some harmless multiplayer fun. I'm going to be really busy for a while, so it's a bit of a shame some really good games are going to have to sit on the sideline. Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in some time for gaming when a ton of good games flood the market this fall and holiday season. Have a good weekend everyone!

Let's see... when my stepson isn't on the 360, I am playing Dawn of War II, Company of Heroes, Killing Floor, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, Portal Prelude, and even more DOOM 3(mods and sech, mostly) on the PC.
And when my stepson isn't doing horrible, troll-like things on BF 1943 and Gnat-zee Zam-beez:
I am almost to first prestige on COD: WAW(I took a long break after campaign; and I also suck but it's still fun to molotov cocktail people to death). I also need to catch up on Mass Effect, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, and a couple others because they all have sequels coming out and I set them down when I was pretty far into them. I also need to finish The Lost and the Damned. I had played so much GTA IV by the time I got that, I needed something different. That reminds me! I need to finish Fallout 3's Operation Anchorage because I played F3 so much that OA was not quite the DLC I should've jumped right into and it is keeping me from the southern swamp one i have heard is great. I am also playing LocoRoco 2 and GTA Vice City Stories on portable and toying with the idea of hooking up one of my dreamcasts to finally beat Code Veronica. Grrrrr
It's probably obvious that I have a condition where I buy tons of games and take my sweet time actually finishing them(unless they are phenomenal).
By the way, finally decided to play God of War and got it from Gamefly. The first part is awesome but that "move the box and hope it doesn't get shot by flaming arrows bit?" Frustrating as all get out.
I understand no one cares what I am playing but I am drunk on cheap whiskey and Olde English... so, I don't care as much as I should. elle oh elle

Just finished up Red Faction: Guerilla. I wish the multiplayer was more active.
I'll also be praying to the gamefly gods that they send a copy of Arkham Asylum my way. Or [Prototype]. I mean, how is that game still in low supply? Gimme.

you know what you should do with gamefly man, is put all the games you want on an MS word sheet or something, then only have a small number on your actual gamefly list, that way it will assign them more priority

That's pretty much what I have going. The only three released games (I have tons of unreleased stuff on there) I have on it are The Bigs 2 (I was addicted to the demo), Prototype, and Batman. I've had an open slot for like a week. I'm just going to keep on hoping one of them comes.

Working on 1k/1k on COD4 before I sell it/trade it in to help get MW2. About halfway through Act I on Veteran, and after a complete vet run only 3 or so achievements left. Also working on finishing my first Fallout 3 run. Good karma first time, second run I'll try to keep karma neutral, third time I get to be the biggest asshole the Wasteland's ever seen. Exciting- and I haven't touched the DLC yet.

CTHULHU PHTANG!
I dont know what ill be playing, i recently got back into WoW again, but my neurosis and crippling fear of failure prevents me from doing any raids. I might finally get the 75k achievement in Nazi Zombies, and if not ill be going through Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction. Also, what's up with the new dragon age wallpaper? It's pretty sweet, but i mean, seems a little gawdy and out of place

Still very slowly beating Killzone 2. PSN games galore, Fat Princess and Pixeljunk Monsters the most probably. But like everyone on here I'm getting bogged down with work and uni.
Really just hanging out for Uncharted 2 and new Ratchet for my single player fix and I'll be playing MW2 for the next few years untill IW release MW3. Screw Treyarch!

Tempted to go back and play Advance Wars DS again because my parents dismantled my Wii when I was away at university this week, and I don't know if I want to go to the effort to get it set up again for one day playing (they claim that it'd encourage burglars to come in - and the 32inch hdtv wouldn't?).
