Here's our big, greedy idea: Buy one of the 140 PlayStation 3 titles being offered in the current BestBuy.com deal for a lucky friend's future Christmas present, and get one for ourselves in the process for half the price! Dealzon spotted the sale we're selfishly taking advantage of over the weekend, which also offers free shipping until the end of Labor Day (that's tonight, folks!).

Thankfully, the deal offers more than just clearance titles -- last week's Guitar Hero 5 and system-selling Metal Gear Solid 4 are among a the handful of good stuff on the list (if you buy GH5, you could technically get a free copy of Guitar Hero: Van Halen as well, upping the value even more). According to the folks at Dealzon, the offer ends on Saturday, September 12, so you may want to get while the gettin's good.

Even if Sprinkles is banned, his legend seems to live on. Btw, I remember Sprinkles saying he works at Best Buy, but by now I can imagine he's applied for a job at one of the new Microsoft stores.

Bah, I've got like half the money to get a PS3 Slim, too. Next weekend I'll have enough, though.

If you wanna save some money. If you're worried about the HDD space, with the money you save you could easily get a 320 or maybe a 500gb when you need more space.

Anyone know if there's a way to get Uncharted 2 to work for this deal? It didn't seem to apply the 50% when I put that and Batman: AA in the cart... would I be able to make it work in-store perhaps?

i got a better idea how about i pay full price for a game i want and then get the cheap one for my friends early present lol

FYI y'all, I just checked the dealzon post and it was updated sometime 9/7, saying that pre-orders are now included in this deal! The guy who updated it said it worked when he tried pre-ordering The Beatles: Rock Band, Mini Ninjas, DiRT 2, and Cabela's Outdoor Adventures.

mmmkay...this deal has been going on for about 5 days now, and when it first came up it worked on preorders as well, which was the REAL part deal.

There's some good stuff on there. Beatles Rock Band and Arkham Asylum are both in the promotion too.

There are times when you feel like you're on the wrong side of the planet...

What's really disappointing is they're limiting you to only 2 games... you can only get 1 game 1/2 off, so even if you add 4 games from their list to your card (For example), you will only get a discount on 1 of those (the lowest price one).

Not as awesome as the previous BB offer (the same except for x360) which initially included pre-order games as far out as Q2 of next year.

Just picked up Batman: AA and Skate 2. was thinking about Beatles: Rock Band, but I need a break from music games.

This is not a bad deal. I just ordered Batman: Arkham Asylum and Killzone 2 and I had $20 in reward certificates so I got them both for $75.

I'd say that was a pretty good deal. Just wish they had both at the local store instead of making a 35 minute drive but I think it's still worth it.

go to the shops people it just isnt worth it
