Sega's Valkyria Chronicles is moving out with another blitz of DLC to keep the members of Squad 7 occupied. CVG reports that "Challenges from Team Edy" will add new missions to the overlooked strategy title in "Winter 2010."
The developers seem to have a soft spot for Edy, who was already the star in one of the DLC packs released last April, in addition to this latest expansion which released in Japan last month.

Yeah, I think its ironic, in the anime anyway, that the fuel source everyone is fighting over is used for A) medical advances, and B) tank fuel to continue the fighting. If they just stopped fighting they would have less injured to take care of and no tanks needing fuel. Still, good anime. I wish they had more side characters from the game though.

They haven't even announced P5. I wouldn't expect to see it until 2011.

Also it's much more likely that they make SMT4 before another Persona.

Filthy's right on the money.
Also, Mirror's Edge 2? Also unannounced. Seems to me that you're pulling nonexistent games out of your ass.

I'm pretty sure that "Winter 2010" means January or February in this case. It's always struck me as an odd way to date something, given that winter could be the very beginning or the very end of a year.

Eh. I beat the game and sold it soon afterward. From what I've heard, the Sylvaria DLC was good, the Edy DLC was not. More Edy DLC won't be enough to make me pick up this game again. Trophies however....

Hope that HUGE waiting means a new patch coming with Trophies implementation as a bonus XD

YES! Chronicles of Team Jann!
It could be like Cho Aniki, the Village People, and the A-Team all rolled up into one!

I enjoyed the demo very much but I'll never buy or rent this game at any price. The trophy hunter in me wont let me. And I must say....I enjoy a good trophy sound effect/icon pop every now and then.

Yeah, I'm not really sure what Sega's thought process is. Okay, so you have to pay for DLC, but not for a trophy patch, but there are tons of people out there that would snap this up if it had trophies, or snap up the DLC if it had trophies.
I've already got the game, but I find it irritating that they've released two pieces of DLC, with another in the works, which obviously means there is a team actively working on the game, but they won't slap together a trophy patch.

I don't get it. This is like a slap to the face for all of us who have been wanting a trophy patch. Yeah, you just get more DLC. What the hell? I haven't seen nearly as many requests for any other game's trophy patch as Valkyria Chronicles. If someone just mentions this game, there's instantly a few dozen people asking about this. Are you blind, Sega?!

I don't like the way this series is heading, what with the anime-style character designs being used in the PSP sequel, and the general Valkyria Chronicles High School type of story it seems like it's going to have.

This is awesome, because Edy's team is absolutely hilarious.
This also sucks, because... seriously, winter 2010!? What the hell, Sega?
