That's actually pretty sick. I guess, if you're only going to collect them there's no point in knowing what's in them.

It's a good incentive to keep these things as collector items instead of trying to consume them.
I never tried them, but I heard old Potion tasted beyond horrible.

No, but you can only randomly find it in any place that sells drinks. Even then, it only has a 10% appearance rate. Every other time you get nothing but Mountain Dew.

While the original potion tasted like shit, the Dissidia drinks were down right awesome. Muscat flavor for the win.

I'm going to get as many of these as I can, and carry them with me everywhere without ever drinking one of them. I'll probably live my entire life, and die without ever having drank one, but at least I had them just in case.

Awesome idea: Buying this should come with a code for a DLC Elixer pack for 16 in game Elixers. That would make buying this outrageous drink a little easier to swallow.

The Dissidia ones flopped - there are still stores around here with stock of them marked down to 100yen a can in hopes they`ll sell before they expire. I don`t find it hard to imagine these going the same way.

The FFXII Potions, those were great. The ones in glass bottles. Besides just being cool and leaving you with something you could actually display (unlike a crappy can) - they actually tasted good.

And they would kill my migraines. I cried a little inside when they all disappeared from stores.

They did fairly well I thought. The only reason they've been marked down to 100 yen is because there are new ones rolling in. At the 7 (or was it lawson's? Can't remember) I went to yesterday there were the 100 yen cans and 200 yen ones side by side.

There's a big tradeoff there, I suppose. You could go for the generic cans that are cheap as hell to produce, allow for a greater number to be sold and still reap a profit by selling for double what ordinary juices go for, the flip side being that greater quantities can lead to huge amounts of unsold stock which could look a little sloppy if they were, say, limited editions. Glass bottles would be slick, allow for higher prices and perhaps have some real collector value -- but an original shape would require some new process, which may not be worth pursuing.

I laughed at the last paragraph, but it is indeed true, I'll be buying that too, plan for 2 box one for collection and another one to drink, i hope it's gonna be like alcohol, no expiry date and as time goes by taste getting better, can't wait to have them.
