One can only hope that the next installment of this amazing franchise will incorporate co-op and versus into it's core gameplay format, not just in a challenge room. 4 goodies vs 4 badies, IN CAMPAINE MODE! Sick!. Example: Batman, Night Wing, Robin, and say Azrael or Huntress versus, Hush, Penguin, Two Face, Black Mask, and Catwoman (catwoman should have an option of co-op or versus with Batman since she sort of walks that fine line. All stories could easily interlock just as comics do. You should still have tons of "Thug N.P.C's" and, "cop N.P.C's for villains" but the boss battles should be player vs player! and the progress made by either team in campaine or challenge mode, should go on the leader boards. D.L.C -This game is the perfect opportunaty to see just how cool the very idea of D.L.C can be. With Kevin Conroy voicing, it would be just like another episode of Batman, and with players controlling the good bosses and the bad bosses, we can introduce more and more playable characters, maps and quests via downloads. Please consider these ideas not just from a fan of Batman: Arkham Asylum, But a fan of Video games, and comic books, and the Batman franchise. I am 29 years old, my Wife is 25, my son is 7 and my daughter is 3 and WE ALL GAME TOGETHER (well my daughters too young, but we're working on it!) Every one I know is itching for you're next Batman game to be BOLDER than even Arkham Asylum, and if anyone can deliver this dream, I believe it is Rocksteady Studios.

P.S. No Batman game is complete without Batmobile travel Sequences and a few side missions as Bruce Wayne!

Oh! That's great! Better yet, why not just have him go super saiyan, or knock away the kryptonite that has been making him week?

Because that isn't what Batman is about. Batman uses tools and skill. He doesn't use super powers.

Now if the final bossfight wasn't a formulaic piece of crap, I would have loved it. (Beat up goons, pull down joker, Uppercut. Repeat 2 more times.)

It's actually for the best that the ending is spoiled, because Titan-powered Joker is stupid. Still, the rest of the game is phenomenal, especially his irrational hated of grates.

I'm a terrible character to play as, I'm deathly afraid of heights, so therfore when you try to hide in elevated areas, I give away my position with faint sobbing.

I agree on the new costumes. Especially to start a new game with.. Although I dunno how that will work with the damage taken during the cutscenes through out the game.

is this for the 360 or ps3 versions? because if its solely 360 is there a remote chance that it could be the joker challenge rooms?

i do think however that the ps3 exclusivity on them would be more than two weeks. i hope its a harley quinn challenge room batc. that would be good.

If it's the same free DLC they mentioned a couple of weeks ago, then it's going to be for both the 360 and PS3. And I think it was mentioned that it won't be the Joker challenges, but something else entirely.

Think the US is a couple of days before that. Either way, I assume they're probably timing this DLC to roughly match up with the PC release. Maybe to keep interest in the console versions, or to include some extra or something that they decided to put in the PC version.

I sincerily hope that the DLC is built into Arkham, since RF: Guerrilla comes out on the same date, with all DLC included in its $40 price tag, perhaps the value proposition will make me wait for price drop for Batman.

does anybody else watch the Queens of Pwn Age, on Youtube?

They said the B:AA Demo was a fair representation but the full game is totally worth it

I usually agree with them, but I'm saving up for a holiday! so i'm kinda torn.

what do YOU like / don't like about it ? is it worth it ?

:)

The demo doesn't do the game justice. After playing it, I felt very meh so decided to rent the game just for the sheer novelty of the voice acting. I don't want to give anything away, but after your first Scarecrow encounter, Bane boss fight, and first few Batman upgrades, you'll kick yourself for ever doubting how wonderfully epic the whole experience could be.

MW2 is the only game on the horizon that could take the GOTY status of AA. Go rent/buy it now.

Seriously, GOTY contender for sure. Especially if you're a Batman fan. The amount of detail that went into making this game (some of the answers to the Riddler challenges were mindblowingly awesome...Scarecrow, Harley, anyone?) is unreal.

Plus, the combat engine is top-notch. You can spend hours on these challenge rooms alone.

@golo

I said MW2 is the only GOTY contender on my radar. That doesn't mean it's the only potentially incredible game yet to be released this year, it just means it's the only one that can top Bats IMHO.

Take Metroid, add in chronicles of riddick, mix in the BEST combat engine ever, a great story, wonderful voice acting (from the cast of the Batman Animated series including Mark Hamill as Mr. J), and all the bad-assery of the Dark Knight and you have the first game to do Batman justice. This is a definite buy.

I wasn't excited for this game at all and boy was I wrong. The demo did nothing for me, but my wife loves Batman and we grabbed it anyway. Then I played it and haven't turned to another game yet. The character work and game progression is very well done and if you don't love to see the Hamil Joker then I'm shocked. He is fantastic. The bosses are all (so far) really well done and you can feel that the game isn't just stretching to make them fit in, but thinks their rolls out. (I was really loving the way they used the Scarecrow by the way.)

Honestly, this is the best superhero game I have ever played. Its worth it to buy.
