Um, does anybody know If the Japanese version has English subtitles?

I'd pluck it right from Japan If so, English voice work is always a meh to me.

I need more details on this bundle. I'm considering holding off on getting a PS3 if it comes to the States.

I don't know about everyone else but, I for one can not wait to hit a button every ten minutes while playing this.

i might still import it maybe not sure if i can wait untel next spring. it be like same months apart as it was for dissidia jp and NA dissidia so might as well import it and see how it gose.

too bad that they are gonna downgrade the game thanks to 360 users- probably for dlc too- oh well ffxiii versus on the way anyways...still, its not fair to ps3 users...

it's not about pushing the game overseas...it's about them taking a hint and applying it to their current business model.

I've never played a Final Fantasy game. Not because I don't like them, but because I was such a noob gamer when I was little (lol) that I never heard that much about the series, up until Final Fantasy 12.

as one person who owns the demo of this FF game i have to say that it is very fast pace for a FFgame and for those who like this kind of games (personaly i really dont) so I know this game will sell a lots of ps3 and make some peple buy another ps3 too...I just came back from japan and the blue rays and games are no more than 7,000 yen.
The price of this game its about right considering that on my time there there were lines of ppl waiting to buy the new dragon quest game for 5,000yen. The good thing of this is that there are a lots of Japanese girls gamers too!

Didn't the president of SquareEnix complain about the high cost of the Ps3? Now they're releasing a game that's nearly 1/3 the cost of the Ps3 system itself? Umm...is it just me or does THAT seem a little hypocritical?

Though I'd like to see an NA-localized version of the bundle, I don't think it'll happen. But it would make a good precedent.

Not trying to start anything but, wouldn't it be ironic if the price increase was caused by the extra cost to produce the extra discs for the X360 version.

Now I understand that US pricing is different then Jap pricing and that FFXIII is PS3 exclusive in Japan but what if they wanted world prices to be fair so they inflated Jap prices to compensate for the potentially increased prices for the rest of the world.

I mean in all likelihood one BD probably costs as much as 5 DVD's but still it would be a weird twist if the the 360 version was increasing the price of the PS3 version.

ooohhh snap. you did NOT just insult Uncharted 2. That game is perfect. Owning that is the essence of being a gamer. That will not only be game of the year, but of the decade, if they have such an award. And anyway, there are plenty of other U2 articles to spam, why come here?

And I don't think you know what the word biased means.

If i say, Xbox sux cuz microsoft makes it, that is biased. But If I say the 360 sucks because it has a high failure rate, incomparable exclusive titles, and lack of a next gen disc format, then that is just stating facts. And when someone plays a game so utterly amazing that they must convey their thoughts on the experience, that is not bias, it is reporting on what they were shown and what thoughts went through their head.

And to fix your sentence. Uncharted 2 will be game of the year on any credible website. Which my end up only being joystiq (as you said), because unfortunately for any decent game (especially U2) MW2 will get game of the year on every other website for some unexplained reason.

Another fix. Stellar graphics, gameplay, story telling, online, single player experience, and provoked emotion make a GOTY, and all but 1 (online) was proven in the first, and will only be out done by a ridiculous factor in the sequel.

Conclusion: STFU and enjoy the diamonds this hobby gives you, or go home.

I'm seriously getting sick of Square-Enix thinking they are the biggest shit since sliced bread. They think there games (mostly all of them), and especially flagship series Final Fantasy is worth more than any game made. $100 for Final Fantasy XIII? What's it even coming with as they haven't said what makes it that price. If there's no additional GOOD bonuses they can shove that price up their ass. This game should be half price normal msrp for how long they took on making it and delaying it with cross decisions.

I will certainly not gonna buy FFXIII, not after all the deception from Square. I'm gonna wait for FFvsXIII.
