New LucasArts game to debut on Spike this week

This Thursday night (or Friday morning, if you prefer) at 12:30 AM EST, Spike TV's GameTrailers TV will reveal a brand new LucasArts game, according to host Geoff Keighley. Since he announced it in a 140 character-constrained tweet, and since he wants you to watch the show, there was little room for details beyond it being "original."

We're just going to guess that the new game is Lucidity, the rumored XBLA adventure game that has yet to be officially announced. Of course, a safer bet would be "another Star Wars game." We'll all find out Thursday night, we suppose.

Sessler I can put up with because he can be funny at times when taking stabs at games in his reviews. I can't help but get the impression that he actually gives a sh*t about the industry, the only problem is he has a pompous attitude.

Whereas Geoff Keighley is nothing more than a douche bag.

Geoff is worth watching simply because every single time he interviews someone making an M-rated game he constantly pesters them as to whether or not there are sex scenes/nudity in the game. It's hilarious to me.

I would like to experience the day-to-day life of Yoda....from day 1. Kind of like aTomagachi meets The Sims meets SW:KOTOR meets SW:EP1:Podracers meets Soul Caliber 4 kind of thing....

I don't think MI2 needs a special edition. The pixel art in that game is really quite good. I guess voices would be nice though.

Re: Geist - if they released it on Steam maybe. Otherwise it's a little tricky to get ahold of a copy (I could maybe find a copy on eBay and use SCUMMVM, but that's a bit of a hassle). I wouldn't mind a MI2:SE as long as the art isn't as terrible as the first one (seriously, Guybrush does *not* have a buzzcut!)
