Having barely survived the insane stunt gauntlet crafted by Trials HD, we can only approach news of additional content in a cautious and slow manner. We're still getting used to walking with these crutches.
When asked by Console Arcade if the included level editor precluded additional downloadable levels for the bone-crunching bike-'em-up, RedLynx CEO Tero Virtala and creative director Antti Ilvessuo responded, "No, there's going to be DLC. We are working on it right now as we speak."
Not noted in the interview was the evil laughter that followed -- likely drowned out by the ritualistic chanting necessary to summon Trials HD levels from their demonic dimension of origin.

Tried this on a friends 360 the other day. Awesome game.
Any chance this might make it to PSN eventually?

Would be nice if all games just came out on both systems to start. Then everyone could enjoy them and not just a select few.

I was thinking the same thing. I loved the motorcycle games like this when they first hit the web and I would really like to see this on PSN. When I first saw some early press releases I was really hoping it would come over to the PS3, but I am, unfortunately, doubting they will.

@dabamf Trials 2 and Trials HD are COMPLETELY different. Both made by Redlynx yes, but HD was built from scratch and is better in ever way especially physics...

Finally beat all the tracks the other day, and more would definitely be welcome. Oh, and it'd also be nice if the track sharing wasn't just friends list only.

^^^ What this guy said.
I finally beat that BASTARD inferno II track too. An option for uploading your tracks for everyone would be quality. Sure, there'd be a lot of crap on there but also some really imaginative ones. like this one for example - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rmBnKY-a9M Props to whoever made that beast, that looks real fun to play!! That feature is probably wishful thinking, but failing that a few new courses ranging from medium to extreme would be welcome.
I don't want no mustard on my sammich, I want my bike! No mustard on my bike...

Awesome, awesome game, but this is not for babies.
I seriously doubt that I will ever beat it, but I will die trying, dammit...
I'll see you in hell Trials HD!

I gotta say this game really did surprise me when it came out. I had really low expectations for it, since i was going to consider it my $5 game with the Summer of Arcade promotion that was going on. But it really did shine and reminds me of Excitebike(NES) but fun... My only grip was that i wished it easier to trade levels though.

Hopefully it will be a good mix of speedier tracks (like easy/early medium) and puzzle tracks (mid to late hard)...
I love Trials. It wasn't even on my radar until the demo but now it's my go to game. Still trying to gold the last few hard tracks...

i totally agree with what yo said about the DLC. also the same thing happened to me with the demo. however, i just beat (as in getting bronze) the final hard track. i can't imagine getting gold on them. i can't even get 3 golds on medium to unlock the skill games.

That's what I thought until I got through the extremes and getting better times on early tracks I was surprised how much better I'd gotten. That last hard track is still a bear though.

I'm curious if anyone thinks the 360 version is worth grabbing if you already have the PC version. Opinions?
Also, this totally needs to have the Kickstart theme tune added.

The console version looks a bit nicer, the menus are way more user-friendly, and the physics aren't as twitchy. I never tried the PC version with anything other than the keyboard, but analog controls make the game much more enjoyable.

If you enjoyed the PC version, the 360 one definitely has a lot to offer. The design of the tracks (all new) is way more creative and often uses loads of crazy physics. Everything got upgraded, including graphics and gameplay. Also, the game comes with a bunch of cool minigames and of course a great level editor. It's a shame you can only share tracks with friends, but if you're really interested into this, there's a small community of Red Lynx forums users who are sharing some pretty good stuff.
No need to say, it's worth its price, even if you already own the Steam version.

On a technical level, the PC version's graphics are superior to the 360 version, but Trials HD does have more variety in its environments. Menus are probably better, but that's not really all that significant, and you can just hook up a 360 controller to the PC for analog control. Trials HD is easier than the PC version, though, so if the PC edition is too tough, you might consider playing it on a console.

This game BADLY needs some kind of controller passing mode a la Wrecking Crew in Red Faction, only online instead.
That is, you'd pick a level, and each person would take turns doing their trial while everyone else got to watch them while chatting.

My ONLY complaint about this game, which MUST be addressed, is that we are restricted to sharing tracks with people on our friends list.
Please remove this limitation, as I have built tracks I'd like the community to see, and I'm sure many others have as well.
Love the game!

Agreed, Sharing tracks needs to be fixed.
Also it would be great if you could view your friends replays in Leaderboards. I assume you can if go to "overall" and scroll down to their rank but that would take forever.

This is great news, I finally beat that last track on hard. I'm on extreme and I find it unbeatable lol. Need to be able to share tracks and replays with everyone like with a community website.

It took me a while to do hard, and the extreme levels just kick my ass.. i can't finish one of them.. i love the game though... Hopefully the DLC is a varying level of difficulty because if they go to Insane, i'll cry

I've beat this game a while ago. But now I'm trying to get better times in Extreme, I have around 24 platinums, my record for Inferno 2 is around 4 faults and 1:34.
