Daft Punk assembling 11 unique mixes for DJ Hero

Rolling Stone reveals that the upcoming DJ Hero won't just feature DJ Jazzy Jeff and Grandmaster Flash, as the robotic rockers themselves, Daft Punk, will also make a very shiny appearance. Along with their signature sets and outfits, the French beat blasters are also crafting 11 unique mixes for the game. Fans will be pleased to know that favorites "Around the World" and "Robot Rock" will indeed make the cut, among others.

To check out eight of the Daft Punk tracks, you'll have to go around the break (around the break).

Around the world is awful? Maybe it's just not your type of music, I recall it being in numerous top 100 songs of all time lists.

I'm glad that people are starting to come around and give this game a chance. I was down from the get go and thought it was an interesting concept. Good job people.

This is coming from a black guy who knew nothing about rock and metal but can expertly 5 star songs with the best of em.

Announcing Daft Punk will makes a big difference to a lot of people i think, myself included. Before i wasnt interested in the slightest but with a bit of electro robot love i may just pick it up. Now to hold out for Deadmau5 haha

Guitar Hero =/= DJ Hero

They have the same publisher (Activision), but they have totally different developers. Just put "EA" over "Activision" on the box if it makes you RB fanboys feel less dirty.

I can't wait for this game.

I jsut don't want a giant plastic toy. If they could make the game work with buttons and analog sticks, I would have it preordered
