First look at Noby Noby Boy stuffed into an iPhone
Namco Bandai revealed the first screen of the iPhone Noby Noby Boy game to GAME Watch today, which can be seen here. As you may expect from a Keita Takahashi product, we can't really figure anything out about it based on this one screen, except that it's got BOY in it, and there's a display at the top of BOY's length. The game is currently 60% done, and has no announced release date yet.People still playing the PS3 game may not even care what the iPhone version is, as long as it helps them add all-important centimeters to GIRL. Also, the fact that it "might be like free" will no doubt influence people to pick it up regardless of whatever actually happens. At the very least, it already looks neat. Of course, this screen could be a trick, like this early trailer for the PS3 game.

Because if there was anything Noby Noby Boy was missing... It was janky controls.

YOU don't win. The designer wins when he gets $5 from you for this overrated piece of CRAP.
I don't mind funding art projects, but the $5 I spent on the PS3 version holds nothing to the amount of TIME I wasted trying to figure out I was supposed to enjoy this idiocy. At least Katamari was a game...and based on Noby Noby Boy, it was a one-time fluke for this designer.
Please, PLEASE go design children's playgrounds, like you threatened to do.

MAYBE you should spend LESS time playing video games and MORE time LEARNING how to PLACE your capital letters properly.
I thought Noby Noby Boy was alright. Big deal, it was $5.

i agree with you on one thing. this was supposed to be a "game" and what you get its just a worm that eat things (his butt), no score, no value replay, etc. The case is diferent in "linger int he shadow" . It was not sell as a game but as "interactive art". Noby noby boy should have the same label. Sorry for the english

If your able to upload length to GIRL, then how are they getting over the PSN hurdle as you need to be logged into PSN for the GIRL to be updated?
When plans were announced for the IPhone version, he mentioned that the main issue would be getting Apple to agree to supporting PSN integration.

I always feel sad when I bypass Noby Noby Boy on my games list to pick something else to play. It's odd, I feel like by owning the game and not playing it, it's causing Takahashi to sit in a corner and cry somewhere. I feel some bizarre guilt about not playing the game that I don't feel when I skip past others, say, Pain or Everyday Shooter. That's not a feeling a game has even evoked in me, which is kind of cool!

I kinda feel the same way. Problem is that the game boggles my mind too much to continue with.
Jabra the Hutt @ Sep 11th 2009 1:37PM
I've actually been playing it lately (well, trophy-hunting), and it's been better than I first remembered it. Not much replay value, but nothing to cry over since it cost as much as a middle of the road burger.
Don't eat burgers off the streets, kids.

I'm sure people who have played it on the PS3 will have no interest in this version, even if it were free. It just got to boring.

The Noby Noby Boy Website updated with this. go to o--o.jp and look at DIY boy 10

Awesome URL. At first, I started on the sushi boy but ended up with the stamp boy. But then I got the hang of it. Hard to find No. 10 without using a search, though.

I heard that noby noby bought this game the first time around.

What's up with that old trailer?
It looks like they took the menu mechanic and just applied it to a ... path... thing.
