If Street Fighter IV were made 10 years ago and lacked all those bulging 3D muscles and gorilla hands, it might look something like the images you see above. Shoryuken forum member Steamboy33 took it upon himself to draw up Street Fighter 3-esque versions of 11 different characters from SFIV, reappropriating sprites from previous SF games as a template.
The adorable stature of these sprites almost has us wishing for a Smash Bros. meets mini-Capcom game, but let's be realistic -- no one wants to fight Seth ever again. Ever.

Wow. I got excited for a second and thought these would be new skins for SFIV. Now I am sad.

Are you sure about that? A few sprites maybe... and none better than these.

Ryohazuki is right, fully playable characters that look pretty much exactly like these, all Hi-res.
I am a big Mugen player, a lot of people don't like it because it's all custom and takes a lot of coding. But when you get the hang of it and know the good websites you can get great characters like these.

These all look pretty good but what's going on with Sakura? (The 2 in the top right corner).
Also Gen & Dan look like they came straight out of SF Alpha 2.
Right I'll stop now cos it sounds like I'm complaining and I'm not!

He's done an amazing job replicating the SF3 style.

3S is a relic of a game that only held on as long as it did because there wasn't anything else to play :\
The character balance is flat broken, hence why you always see so many 2v2, 3v3 matches, so more chararcters are shown than just yun, chun, and ken.

Maybe think the game is FUN god forbid people ENJOY a fighting game on a non super serious level. Just because tournament players are lame, doesn't mean people who are down to earth only play the best characters.

This would have made a better SFIII game too.

Ha, that's a pretty nice job he did. This makes me wish for a 2D remix of SF4, just like this, as I don't really dig the 3D modelling the game has but eh, just my opinion. I'm too old-school you know.
Chun-Li looks hot like that.

well yeah i forget how many are made, but i know i've see a C. Viper like way before SFIV was even out.
I dont keep up with mugen as much as i should, but my friend does alot. he put together a great game with alot of balanced fighters (as balanced as you can get with over 200 people. he could have put more but he wanted not only important people, but characters that were not glitchy, and not retarded crap like nude Cammys and whatnot. lol)

I dont get all the Seth hate? he is really easy when you time a heavy low kick and swoop him down after he does his vortex thingy o_0
If you want a quick game just use Zangief and spam triple punch + pile driver. If you time it correctly, it counters seth everytime he wakes up from the floor to attack you... test it for yourself ^_^
I say this game sux thanks to Zangief lol
