I got a kick out of making a female, alcoholic, womanizing dictator that smokes a cigar. Definitely going to pick this up, probably through Steam once its available.

Works fine for me on Windows 7. And it has kept surprisingly true to the original game, too. Not to mention being freakin' gorgeous.

It was a good try though. I've seen RESTAURANTS which have the singular form of "tamales" spelled "tamale" right on their menu.

With the 8 comments (it's a PC game, I shouldn't have expected much more) I've been convinced to try out the demo.

This demo was AWESOME. I cant name the last game demo that I got 6+ hours of gameplay out of. Tropico 3 is just like Tropico 1+Beautiful graphics/scenery+Added features+better UI.

Although it does have lively carribean music and a funny/informative DJ, a draw back for me is that it dosent have the same music from Tropico 1. That music was great.

I'm definitely picking this up.
