After many computations, I have come to the conclusion that human/0 is equal to a cross between a cow and a pigdeon.

Judging from Ryguy226 pic
if you divided a human/0 then you would get an A$$ HOLE...So in a way we all are divided by zero

The first rule of upvote party is you don't talk about upvote party!! The second rule is...reply to something on the first page or you don't get to participate in upvote party. The third rule is end on a meme.

Most definitely, we will likely see a drop from these crazy numbers over 100,000 but it's possible that this new PS3/price drop have finally caused the tipping point that is bringing a lot of people to this "next" gen of consoles in Japan, replacing that trusty PS2 and complimenting the Wii under the flatscreen.

If Sony can keep this momentum going then they can eventually catch MS in the global hardware total. I believe the North America and Europe numbers were pretty even as a result of the most recent price cut. They should be able to have consistently high numbers through the holiday season. Only time will tell!

The good games coming and the lowered price should lead to higher sales. But I can't see how PS3 will sustain this rate through Christmas.

And if you think about it, isn't that amazing? For a console to catch up to its competition that was released a year BEFORE it debuted.

Well, now that I think about it... Not really.

When you add up the 360 hardware issues, the fee for multiplayer, and the growing exclusives being released in the next couple of months, it was only a matter of time.

There may be a lull over in Japan for October-November, but with FF-13 and (presumably) GT 5 releasing in December PS3 should have huge spikes like this most the month.

No, that isn't so amazing. What is amazing is Sony's inability to sell a console that was not plagued with hardware troubles. Their inability to sell a console that had free multiplayer, better specs/hardware, and a brand name that was synonymous as the best selling console of all time.

Seriously, it got beat by the console that practically has 50% or higher failure rate. It better catch up or otherwise Sony better step out of the game.

And that isn't taking in the account of the console that is only as powerful as two Gamecubes.

@JY you do realize that that the PS3 was outselling the 360 prior to the 360 price cut. and had a slightly better saling rate in the same time period. to say it hard a hard time selling when it is close to 23 to 25 million units sold seems a bit off to me.
