Gawd, Joystiq - put up a fucking spoiler tag, ferchrissake!
Now EVERYONE knows there's a dog, boombox, and bicycle in the game.
Gee, thanks, assholes.

Yeah, thanks, assholes. I was reading through the full 22,802 word list for the game:

http://rush68.net/u/files/scribfull.txt

and I had only made it up to "Bibliognost".

I really can't motivate myself to go any further now that I already know Bicycle is coming next.

Wonder what it's Metascore will be...
Mario & Luigi RPG 3's is currently 94!
I'm buying both. :D

It actually got a 7.75 and 8.75 from Game Informer. It's not bad, but I don't know if it'll reach a 94 on Metacritic- but screw reviews, this game's going to be awesome and I'm going to enjoy the crap out of it.

Probably great if people judge the first 10mins of play time. Don't get me wrong, the game *looks* awesome. In theory. Until you play it and realize if you your imagination was that much fun to be alone with you wouldn't be playing a video game in the first place.

I was talking about Bowser's Inside Story having the Metascore of 94 - Scribblenauts isn't even listed yet (although I have contacted them about it). But anyway, this game will be A-W-E-S-O-M-E. And if it isn't I will take advantage of EB Games Australia's "if you don't like this game bring it back within 2 weeks and get a refund" policy - which slightly makes up for the ridiculous cost of games from there. :D

Bravo to TRU for true incentives for launch purchases. Got me to get Batman.

There's a million other people that would agree with you.
The only reason why it gets as much hype as it does, is because it does what most other games could never do: Make you un-bored even if you were bored with it.

@Ossot That's a really good point that I never considered. Will people with less creative imaginations pan this game? Straight forward play (like always using a ladder where appropriate, or a helicopter, or, worse, just copying what they've seen in the ads) might become boring to them.

Since I never bother to stop using my imagination (so awkward in mixed company) I have no doubts that it will be incredible. For the tree puzzle I plan to attach bologna to a squirrel then generate an overweight Shriner to chase it up the tree. :-b

@Rhamsey I know! I'm in the same boat and about the same distance.

I would totally go, but you haven't listed the PATH as a way to get there.

Hoboken: Entirely more a borough of NYC than Staten Island. I mean, come on, you don't need to take the damned ferry to get here.
