They were going to charge for both seats, but there was a campaign saying the second seat was too similar to the first one, so they sold it as an expansion pack.

This really pisses me off.... That 3,000.00 could go towards much better uses like charity or something. Gabe Newell can easily afford to pay for his own airfare, anyone that donated money to this cause should be ashamed of themselves as should Gabe Newell and Valve.

I donated 2 dollars, just for the possibility of making Gabe Newell sit on a plane for 20 hours to see a mod in person. That man has said some jerk things about Playstation 3. Not that any things he said were necessarily untrue, it just sounded like whining the way he was quoted.
