Very nice! Now all I have to wonder is if we'll see the 250GB HDD pop out in stores anytime soon.

Yeah that 250 gig HDD is really appealing. Especially since I only have about 2 gigs left on my original 20 gig one. Unfortunately, I don't think Microsoft going to be easy on the pricing judging by their last $25 dollar reduction on the current 120 gigs. Here's to me hoping that at least now the 120 gigs will less than 100, I'd jump on that deal any day.

Yep. Decent bundle price but that case design doesn't say "modern" or "warfare."

It says "F-141" and "2."

They would have made the case more relevant if they had "bangbangbang" and "Aiiieeeeeeeeee!!" printed on it.

Good conversation piece though. Visitors will be continually asking you why you have an Xbox 141.

I gotta agree on both counts: It looks a little goofy, but nowhere near as much as the Halo 3 Special Edition. I did a quick search for anything military related with the name or designation "F-141" and came up empty. It's not a plane, or a type of weapon or ammo that I can find. Worse then that, what the heck is up with the "High Speed - Low Drag" label on the front? It's a military fps, not racing sim for pete's sake.

Oh well, I'll be getting one HDD alone, and will be sticking my Halo 3 faceplate on it anyway so no big deal. Just an odd design choice...

@Cash

Hi speed low draw no resistance is a military jump school saying. Special ops guys go to Airborne School and therefore the labeling on the xbox 360 is relevant to MW2 as those guys are Special ops.

It looks sweet, but will it include the Prestige edition? Or just bare bones? If it's the basic edition I don't think it's such a great deal.

new 360 Elite package + 1 wireless controller + MW2 basic = $410, with a 120GB drive.

with this, you get that, plus twice as large HDD (and possibly HD cables) for $400. i highly double wifi is included. but if you're in the market for a 360 and you're looking at getting MW2, this is a no brainer.

You can get a wireless controller for $38 on Amazon. Plus $60 for the game (if you don't get a 10% off ECA deal) and you're talking break even except for the HDD size bump.

why do most people start quoting online prices. alot of people buy their controllers at the same time they buy the console. not to too many get the console then, go home and start internet shopping.

I start quoting online prices because once people start talking about a "good deal" you want to compare it to actual good deals out there, instead of just listing list prices. Because just because something is less expensive than a bad deal doesn't mean it is a good deal. But if it's better than other good deals...

This is a fantastic deal. Like others have said, you'd spend about $100 on the game and controller alone. Doubling the hard drive is just like a bonus at this price. I've been looking into getting a 360 ever since the price dropped, and now this might be the time to bite for me. Does anyone know if I'd be able to put faceplates over this system (or replace that faceplates, I don't know how it works on the 360s)? I don't think it looks bad, but after MW2 has been out for a while I may just want to get a plain black or white faceplate for it. Any possible help would be great, thanks guys.

I was not refering about the hardware standpoint, sure Wifi, battery packs and HD cables would make it really stand out. But since it's the "MW2" edition, why not at least throw in the Hardened edition? Just the bare bones game kinda sucks.

@ToadStoolPorridge
yeah, you could replace that faceplate, but why would you want to? would kinda mess up the aesthetics of the whole system (you can't change the body).

Sly, its not as though console gamers are always on the high horse, there's plenty of console fanboys trolling the poor old PC. The PC is where the 360 and PS3 fanboys can finally unite to bash.

I'm wondering what the quality of those NVGs will be in the Prestige Edition for consoles. PC only gets the regular edition and for the same $60 price as the console versions instead of $50?

Kotick hates PC gamers even more than console gamers. So I hate him even more than you fellows.

my reason is that my laptop can't fit a graphics card and only has integrated graphics. that makes games as easy to run as TF2 run bad.

and RKN, i'm not saying that there aren't PC haters among console players or that this one troll represents the PC gaming community. i'm just telling him to GTFO a console post if he has nothing to say about consoles.

His post was uncalled for, console and PC versions have their strengths and weaknesses. I'll be playing this at 1920x1200 native resolution for instance. : )

Sly, check this sweet thing out, will work in any laptop with an ExpressCard slot and boost its graphics, most laptops today have an Expresscard slot. : )

Its expensive but a great proof of concept and hope this will mature more in the future and there will be more products like it to bring competition and the price down.

Can't we just all get along? I have a PC, a 360, and a PS3. This game would be great no matter which one I bought it for.

I'll probably be picking this up on the 360 though, since most of my friends are going to and I can play with them over xbox live.

it was only $150 used with 3 games. oh by the way it's a 60gb model.

if you can point me in the direction of a PC that does the same for $150, I would be very grateful.
