I dunno but if it was it was because the proprietary cables of the GameCube to GameBoy were expensive and full of fail....or maybe cause the GameCube just didnt cut it....I loved my gamecube but shit.....it could have been better...
fact is the PSP(with exception to the Go) connect with a standard USB-mini B cable....comes with the PS3 already and most people have them also for MP3 players or Cameras or Cell phones....
I for welcome this type of interactive gameplay...wish more games did this

i dont see a Zune HD ever being able of doing this stuff...
great way to implement the psp and ps3 connectivity.
i still got my eye on buying resistance retribution to go with my resistance 2 game.
IMO this is up there with being able to play PSN ps1 classics on my ps3 or psp....

the zuneHD is actually pretty advanced in hardware, the tegra chip that powers the zuneHD is disgusting, its an 8 core integrated chip running at 800mhz, can decode 720p video, geforce mobile graphics core, speaking from a technical point of view it is more powerful than the psp and even the iphone 3GS.

until i hear about halo zuneHD or mass effect zuneHD im not getting excited.
what it can do doesnt mean much if MS doesnt care or do much with it.
i have a zune and no ipod and it was a little disappointing how little support MS did with the zune thus far.thats just my opinion.
and if nobody ( or should i say a small percentage of the market ) owns 1, it doesnt matter because no one will make products, games, or accessories for the product.
that is what has happened with the zune so far. no sales. no accessories. minimal apps. have fun.

Sounds like a lot of Assassin's Creed playing all at one time. Playing one of the games, then moving to a different game, then going back to the other AC sounds fine, but playing through two AC games at once just sounds like too much (the first one got to be too much before the end, with only one to play.)
