Capcom moving 'Zig' to PSP in Last Ranker

According to PSP Hyper, the game focuses on real-time fighting as it follows the career of competitive fighter, named Zig, trying to succeed in a giant tournament. Siliconera notes that the storyline in the game is intended to "emphasize the relationships and rivalries that go on between fights." Which is why it's an RPG and not a fighting game. We'll find out if Capcom knows what it's doing when Zig takes off in Japan next year.

Sorry dude everthing I learn about gaming equals news to ME call it what ever you want but I call it news...I say its slow because it is this is just as pointless as posting something like "Gaming consoles play video games". But yeah 2 points for you title cop. Mental note joystiq=blog (But the blog is used to convey news).

They're, uh, talking about a newly announced game, and you say that's completely pointless.
And the thing about this being a blog is they can pretty much any kind of post they'd like. Take for example, the Joystiq Box Office posts. Those are about MOVIES and TV SHOWS. While it relates to what you can play on the systems (be it Netflix on 360, or PSN Video Store), it isn't about video games.

Who frowns upon the announcement of a new game, especially a new game from Capcom that happens to be a fighting game RPG? This game looks neat, and while I really don't do portable games much, I'm actually looking forward to hearing more about it and maybe playing it.
I'll take more articles like this and less analyst predictions any day.
