Free Realms coming to PS3 mid-2010, may support PlayStation Eye

During his speech, Smedley also addressed the functions which would be specifically tailored for the MMO's console outing, saying, "For the PlayStation 3 version, it's very likely that the Eye is going to be something we support." We hope the Eye's implementation isn't of a voyeuristic nature -- if there's anything our late-night Uno sessions taught us, it's Camera + Internet Strangers = Terror.

Mm, recently heard about a large amount of wanking going on in Uno.

Well I'm glad we didn't download Uno despite my girlfriends pleas...

my friend was playing bomber man ultra ( equivalent of Bomberman Live on XBL ) but the game supports PS eye at the end of each game it goes to a live feed of your camera and let me just say what my friend saw it should not be repeated.
PS Eye support is cool but free realms is aimed at young teens and kids and knowing the world we live on best believe you'll hear about some sick creeps. PS Home has enough of them.

oh and in Bomberman Ultra the camera feed at the end goes to the winner only

The first thing I thought when I read this was "Milo".
O well, anytime I take someone down in Burnout Paradise it just snaps a photo of my cat sleeping on the couch. Guess there will be plenty of that in Free Realms.

Mine takes a picture of my plush SackBoy sitting on my PS3!
The Baron @ Sep 16th 2009 1:08PM
Agreed, this is definitely a bad idea in a game aimed at kids.

Zen Pinball also supports this, and it's not very pleasant to watch some random fat guy in underwear smoking, it's really disgusting.
Also, one time I was playing Uno with a friend on live at his house, and trough the camera we saw the worst things I ever saw on a video game, seriously, and he said, it was the most common thing!
Those people just don't have a life.

Man, that looks a lot like Fable. I'm don't usually make comparisons based on a screenshot, but the resemblance is uncanny.

Yeah I can't help but think that every time I see a Free Realms post, Little Sparrow...
*sniffle*
HedonisticKai @ Sep 16th 2009 12:29PM
Yeah i used to play burnout paradise with a group of friends, and whoever won the game was able to do a pose for the camera at the end for everyone to see... The picture was never anything related to the game.. lets just leave it at that....
...WHICH WAS AWESOME

I dunno, i had some hilarious moments playing burnout paradise with the PS3 Eye...
seeing some people go from displeased to pure hatred then to scrambling to cover the cam with their hand after 5-6 takedowns is priceless...
not to mention, flipping people the bird after a win. classy.
I kind of wish more games had this feature.

Hah, I just can't believe someone marked my comment down. Sensitive much?
I'm sorry whoever it was felt insulted that I compared a game to Fable (omg the horror!).
As a general piece of information, I love my PS3. And, yes, that picture still looks like Fable. Fanboys go home.
