Listen, are you sure you wanna do this? You've made it so far without Brutal Legend spoilers and you're so close to the game actually coming out ... do you really want to watch the first five minutes of the game? ... Oh, sure, we watched it. We watched it and it was spectacular.
But you shouldn't. Not you, dear reader. You're better than that.
Sorry, Joystiq, you won't trick me into watching it. Launching a new game for the first time, not knowing what awaits you, is an experience not worth spoiling.
Yep, I'm passing too, haven't really read anything new for a few weeks now. Can't wait! I almost pre-ordered it yesterday, but managed to resist. I never pre-order anything, but I'm too stoked for this one.
@hplcman Don't go there, please. Go and offend your mother if you are looking for an easy target. Please stay on topic and refrain from personal attacks.
I kind of ruined Halo 2 SP for myself by paying so much attention to all the videos/hype/etc. Then the multiplayer ruined itself single-handedly. I'm glad folks are appreciating the mystery about this; I'll be this game will be pretty kick-ass.
Wow, violence, comedy, and full frontal nudity all in the first 5 minutes. I didn't expect the space ships but they worked them in perfectly! I'm interested to see how the dinosaur angle is going to get played out in the game, but it looks awesome.
He's joking of course. None of that stuff was even in there. But speaking of the REAL video, I think it was an odd choice to make his dog a ROBOT ninja.
Whoever was navigating this game is no longer allowed to touch a gaming controller ever again. How are you gonna make me put in my age and then censor the video?
This is distilled awesome, I was afraid my screen would crack from all that condensed awesome I just saw. If they would finally make up their mind if the demo comes out tomorrow or if just the pre-order people get it I could sleep tonight.
Can't wait to get my hands on this. This is Double Fine quality at it's finest.
Tim Schafer ... I bow down before you ... I am not worthy. All I can offer you is my money ... and my soul.
Wow... Ok... To be honest I haven't even given this game a look (Thought it was a Rock Band Port or something) Not the hugest Fan of Jack Black either so that also didn't persuade me
But after watching this? Yeah... Excuse me I have to go read everything I can about this game and find out how many organs I can give up to have it now.
Well, I've heard the question several times now and I got three points that make lots of sense to me but I can't prove that any of those are responsible for them NOT being in the game.
1.) Activision holds all the music rights in the digital/games market because of their Guitar Hero license and given the struggle about BrĂ¼tal Legend they probably wouldn't give them up or only for unbelievable amounts of money. 2.) The game's soundtrack is mainly comprised of 70s classic metal and stuff that plays into the category in terms of sound and atmosphere. So far Metallica haven't written anything particularly "epic" (in terms of dragons and lightning etc) afaik.
In my personal opinion I like that Metallica isn't in the game. They have taken some ridiculous positions in recent years and other than that I really can't think of one of their songs that would actually fit the mood of the game.
Hmmm... Its still in the maybe pile. Not much this year isn't in my maybe pile. Off the top of my head, Serious Sam HD is the only one in the 'Definite Day 1 must-buy list'.
So... who wussed out there, cause why the *bleep* did you *bleeping bleepers* make me put up with another one of those *bleeping* age verifications if I wasn't going to be rewarding with some *bleeping* (non)blood and *bleeping* swearing?
Why the fuc do i have to put my birthday if its gonna be sensored anyways totally ruined it wait for the demo not worth seeing! But this games gonna rock!!!!
