Dengenki recently polled its readers on what series they'd like to see translated into anime form. The Top 10 list looks nearly exactly the same as our own wishlist:

- 2. Phoenix Wright

- 6. Metal Gear Solid

- 9. Persona 3
- 10. Atelier Rorona
Atlus' PS2 RPG
Persona 4 tops the list, managing to beat out some big names like
Kingdom Hearts and
Metal Gear Solid. Perhaps the success of
Persona: Trinity Soul reminded readers that the franchise works in serialized TV format? While we'd certainly like to see another
Persona anime, an adaptation of
Phoenix Wright seems like a no-brainer. Capcom, are you reading this?

ummm i think you would have to rethink that. That anime would require huge budget to do well. the sheer amount of combat would suck up all the production money of 26 episodes in probably 5 episodes. that isn't evenincluding the many changes in world which so different.
sorry i am in bad mood after watching the valkyria chronicles and how much it has been butchered it would pain me to see other series i like fall under the same problem.
it could happen as squarenix are anime publishers and the series has a manga. I think the large red tape would be Disney license to sign off on it.
oh the group i think the phoenix wright anime would work best just cause it isn't as animation intensive.

Mostly because the story is as awful and convoluted as most animes out there.
Though admittedly, however much I dislike Kingdom Hearts, Seeing Mickey kicking some ass with his keyblade would be worth watching.

That was my first idea as well.. The only problem with a Phoenix Wright anime is that they could turn it into the Law & Order of animes and do over 9000 seasons of it... Wait, why am I complaining about that? :O

I'm not even a huge fan of anime (the only one I've ever really liked is Cowboy Bebop), but I would so watch a Pheonix Wright anime. That would be amazing.

As long as they would go into court scenes. I have both the Phoenix Wright mangas, and while they're hilarious/awesome, there's not nearly enough court action.
I hope Capcom is listening though. I need more Ace Attorney swag to fill my room with.

I liked the story of Persona 3 better but the tweaks they made to the gameplay gave Persona 4 that advantage.
I felt like I had a better understanding of the Characters in Persona 4, although I liked both game's characters equally.
Persona 3 had the Evokers, which I felt was pure ballsy to include, and was sad they didn't need them in 4
Long story short, I think they were both equally awesome

The protagonist speaks, they just don't voice his dialogue in the game (or in most of the anime cutscenes) because we read his lines and make choices for him. He's voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, but I think the only things he actually says are Persona!, spell attacks, and sometimes persona names.

the only two I'd want to see would be phoenix wright and Atelier Rorona
Okami sounds like it would make a good anime but I'd have serious doubts on that.
I haven't played blazblue so I have no idea what it's about. so no idea on that one.
I could be wrong but I thought there was an idolmaster anime already? but they were piloting giant robots as a meteor defense force or something. don't think that was in the game.

Yes, there already was an Idolmaster anime, so I'm not sure what Japanese people are thinking... Id@lmaster Xenoglossia was the name I believe. The meteor plot was only through the first half... the second half switched focus.
It wasn't as bad as I'd expected it to be.

I think JRPGs are practically the only games that translate well into film, in large part due to the fact they are pretty close to film in their presentations already (Phantasy Star Universe more then any JRPG I dared try).

There was already an iM@S anime. Though i guess it wasnt quite what people wanted out of it lol. I could go for a proper one. Aswell as BlazBlue. Haven't played some of the games so i don't know about them.
