Attention, footie fans, Major Nelson has news from on high. That news is this: A demo for Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace. We don't know much about the demo, other than the fact that it features multiplayer as well as "incredibly detailed visuals and refined controls and skills." We also know it will eat up one whole gigabyte of your hard drive. Finally, and this is just a guess, the demo probably allows you to kick balls. Hard. Download and enjoy.

Played it, real cool graphics. But thats just about it. Nothing feels new about the engine. Konami is trying hard to give the EA like eye candy interface which is not so successful aswell. Scored a couple of goals instantly from first match. The player responces are very poor, turning passing, finding space is very easy. RIP PES.

Graphically its a vast improvement, keeper AI has improved, player turning, runs and movement is improved but crosses have been watered down n its like ground pass never seem to have enough steam, the card thing is a good idea and the ability to change how the team plays anr reacts to situation is a very welcome addition but unfortunately its not enough to maintain my attention, for the first time in 11 years it looks like it's looking like FIFA will be getting my money Pro Evo.......for me today is a sad sad sad sad day.....

I may have lost 4-3 with those backwards controls.. but even after swapping the buttons to as close to Fifa as possible.. it just wasn't as good as Fifa 10.. PES10 feels like it should be better than Fifa9, but the goalies are rubbish.. maybe next year eh, Konami..
Fifa10 is so much more enjoyable, since it seems to have fixed the matrix-goalie and 'mobbing' by the AI team - as in coming up to the box & 3 of it's team will get in your face forcing you to the sides, and if your in the box, I've seen up to 8 in the box with your guy, while a team mate AI stands back for a smoke..doesn't stop me winning.. even after turning up the difficulty now they just need your teams AI to act more like a team

This plays like crap. Clunky controls and the movement of players feels like its not finished (maybe its not). The visuals arent bad though.
Very disappointed. Wont be buying this based on the demo.
