I don't have a PS3...... and I'm not a Sony fan.... but this is a truly terrible programme... it used to be a good programme once... and it was live not recorded.

I'm upset on two levels! One, that as a British tax payer this is the best we can do, and that two, it is VERY clear that is whole thing was set up by the BBC to level the playing field having ripped into Microsoft.

It stinks... bad.

This video is clearly just rubbish. They love to throw around numbers such as "Twelve and a half thousand," yet they are too retarded to correlate the fact that with an existing base of 2.5 million consoles in the UK, 12,500/2,500,000 = .005, or less than 1%. They also fail to mention how xbox 360 failure rates lie within 20%-30% depending on your sources. This is clearly just a Microsoft supporting show, and I will never watch this old hag try to take down Sony with false information again.

Alright, Watchdog isn't wrong for bitching about the customer service, but they shouldn't be implying that the PS3 hardware isn't reliable.
The main factor now in determining who the wrongdoer is would be whether or not it's true Sony is running its repair services at a loss or not.
I think they should extend the warranty to 18 months because that seems to be when a lot of failures occur.
