Square Enix to distribute Disney Interactive titles in Japan

Though you may be uncomfortable with the expansive publishing empire Square Enix is amassing, think of it this way -- we could see awesome mash-ups between these two companies' respective franchises! Like, say, an action-RPG featuring both Final Fantasy and Disney film characters -- oh, never mind. That's just silly talk.

I mean the first game didn't sell that bad, and come one we need more games with dinosaurs.

Are they becoming the Japanese version EA or Activision? I mean, they do pump out Final Fantasy games almost like EA and Activision do Madden, Guitar Hero, Call of Duty, etc.

I wish they would also give them the development role too.
I wish they would let Japanese developers handle more American branded game in general.

If they did make a Disney-SquareEnix game it could be interesting. Imagine Final Fantasy characters interacting with classic Disney characters? If they ever did it I might check that out.
