It looks like the inhabitants of Liberty City now have more to fear than crazy foreigners and roving bike gangs, according to a recent Weazel News expose. Terrorists have made their way into the city and brought their tools of destruction with them. Sticky bombs, exploding bullets (doesn't every bullet kinda explode?) and attack helicopters are just a few of these new dangers facing players in upcoming The Ballad of Gay Tony (not to mention every Burger Shot-loving local on the street).
But, thanks to the hard work of the Weazel News team, we have a good idea who's behind this sudden influx: Frickie Van Hardenberg, an African emigrant with a sordid past. What? Seriously, that's his name. Watch the news clip above if you don't believe us.
Hate to be a nitpicker but Gay Tony isn't the main character, Luis Lopez is. And sadly, exploding bullets have been in online mode for a while, since the hackers discovered rocket launching pistols.
wait... I don't get it, what are you nit-picking? There was no mention in the article of Gay Tony being playable... are you nit-picking Rockstar's choice of name for the episode? O_o???
Yea it was, looks like they got past all stuff now. I really don't mind not them I think for city at lest. If it was a GTA SA remake yes, a place that big would need them.
Bleh the political propaganda undertones were a little much, though I did enjoy the Fox News spoof. "Liberal" government is evil, liberalism however is a political ideal and a very good one at that. When people understand the difference between conservative government and liberal government without relating them to liberl/conservative personal values the world will become a much better place. Both the Democrate and Republic parties are ultra liberal when it comes to government power. Liberal as in the definition of liberal NOT liberalism.
i am really pissed that ive been buying GTA titles since 2 and i cant play these expansions, yes i own an xbox but i bought and played the game on the ps3 im not goign to buy it again on the xbox. I think next time il wait on the computer version and just pirate it. Since it has been abandoned on the ps3.
You dont have to buy GTAIV again, just buy the "episodes from liberty city" disc for 40 bucks. Youll be paying just as much as everyone else has to to download both episodes.
Vannyx, there was a big enough kerfluffle made about exclusive episodes for the 360 long before the release of the game that if you went ahead and bought it for a different system, you have no one to blame but yourself. It wasn't abandoned on the PS3, it was very well publicized that these episodes would be exclusive to the Xbox 360. A couple of my friends who were hardcore ps2 fans, but more hardcore GTA fans ended up getting 360s just so they could rock the expansions when they came out.
Also, what Mr French says is correct. Just buy the episodes from liberty city disk when that ships as it'll be a complete game unto itself. Still for the 360 only, but you don't have to re-buy GTAIV to enjoy them.
it doesn't have planes because it wouldn't make sense. This game was supposed to be more realistic, having an airplane is like a slap in the face to that.
i friend of mine told me if i dont like what was done i should vote with my wallet. Even though i have a system that can use it, i have a serious problem with how this exclusive DLC thing is going down so il vote with my wallet, even thought it wont make one lick of a difference. You dont shit on half your customers like that. I know it was announced before the game came out. When i preordered it it said that xbox was getting exclusive DLC, GTA had never release an expansion before. If i knew the DLC was not just one expansion but 2 or all future expansion for this title i wouldnt have bought it period. (before you say expansions are DLC i would like ot remind you that horse armor is also DLC).
