Both motion technologies suck because both can't be used for all general purpose gaming.
The sony dildo lacks a nun-chuck to compete against the Wiimote and the XBOX one can only be played on very specific genre of games.

How come anytime Natal is brought up the "Sony Eye Toy Brigade" comes out of the woodwork? So what if its similar, it does do things that the Eye toy can't but know one usually puts the eye toy down for this. I just don't understand the hurr durr assault on Natal, let it get close to release time and see what it has to offer come launch before the comparisons can be made. This looks nice but before I buy a console 360/PS3 with this I'll wait and see what the actual implementations in the games will be. It's good in theory but theory and practice are quite often very different things.

Though if we dwelve into semiology world, we can find that the word "Natal" or "Nado" mean "birth" or "to be born" so it might be more logical if they're calling it Natal because it has the meaning of something new, something that is coming to life.

This seems cool. Hopefully they will completely eliminate the little bit of lag I did see before the video switched views. The problem with creating an in-game environment with a video of the person playing to showcase your product is that the viewer (us) only see the movement's output, but not the input. It would have been cool to have a picture in picture view of them playing that was not controlled by the console in order to get a better idea.
But on the other hand, having a fake room generated on the console does help you orient yourself so that the tiny bit of lag that might happen won't throw you off. Well done all in all.
