That Facebook page is actually pretty neat, my gal has been loving this game since she bought it.

A lot of the commenters on the page are saying they hope it's DLC for the DS, but I have to imagine that's pretty unlikely. Can the DS really handle DLC? I know in the 1st Layton the 'DLC' was just extra puzzles that unlocked every week, but that were already on the cart...

Why are the Zune comments being marked down? It'd be nice to give the new PMP a good game that doesn't have ads in it.

I'd like it on the Wii actually. Something the family can get together and think up crazy solutions.

Ghen is closer, i think, if only because 5th Cell recently confirmed that they were working on some unspecified Wii project.

Could be anything, ultimately.

Cause he probably doesn't have a DS? Ever think about that?

I do, and its awesome! But some of the a puzzle levels are too hard :(
And first I thought it was going to be some super item list, but an iPhone version seems more likely.

DLC adding 4,500 more words

So you can solve the puzzle with the same 4-5 with more options ;D

I love the game but it's still funny

and to those who say having a picture of scribblenauts pop up when you type in game of the year is cocky - the main character is wearing a rooster hat. so he's allowed to be cocky.

Exactly. Just like if he was wearing a penis hat.

The problem with having a iPhone version so early is that version can't be sold much more than $10. I don't think they are stupid enough to release a $10 version so soon when the $30 DS version just came out a week ago. That would kill the DS's version sale. Or at least piss off the DS owner of Scribblenauts.

Hell, most games don't even sell for more then $5-$7 now, which really pisses me off. The App Store has become more about price than quality, which is sad.

I am not exactly sure how much they are spending on shipping, production, packaging, Nintendo, etc. but they might make just as much off of an iphone version... even after Apple's cut.

I find it hard to believe they would make make more ($7) vs a DS version(Prob $15-20) dollars.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I was talking volume. The individual ds version sale would net more. But I would bet it sells more copies on the iPhone, and that plenty of those will even be re sales.

@billop: I'd also like to add that once the wizard kills the other two, if you put a mirror in front of him on his rampage (reflecting his fireballs), he will then proceed to endlessly attack his reflection.

I'd love to see a WiiWare version, as the Wii remote would work just as well as the stylus. They could even fix the control issues, by putting movement on the analog stick and the camera on the plus pad, or vice versa, while using the pointer in the same way as the stylus.

A program were you can mail in your game and get it replaced with a version that supports d-pad movement and eliminates auto cam-centering? That would make me a happy panda indeed.

The D-pad movement isnt a big problem for me. The Camera Auto centering is REALLY annoying though. Its the only major flaw of the game
