To be fair, XKCD isn't always straight forward. You should always check their alt-text as it sometimes clears things up, and other times is funnier than the comic.

PA wasn't that complex. Gabe's heading off to his town in Animal Crossing, and the bus driver is kidnapping him.

Ouch... Thanks for explaining.

I guess that even if I did understand the jokes at the time, I wouldn't exactly call them jokes.

But at least xkcd never really aims to make a joke, more like making a smart remark.

tricky...

Nerf Now had a lot of heart. Not a butt gusher by any means, but it was honestly cute.

Virtual Shackles was, as always well drawn and amusing. It breaks a cardinal rule in comics for me: it takes to long to get to the punchline.

GG and BitF were runners up this week.

think i'm going with Nerf Now

I voted for xkcd based primarily upon the fact that it is DA TRUF (in some places on the internets, at least).

And because it's the best comic on the web besides Dr. McNinja.

Penny Arcade did this comic already.

I suggest removing it from the ranking, we don't want to encourage copyright infringers do we?
