I can't help it, but every time I see anything about this game I gotta think about the poor fellow that "can't" play this game cause his wife will have a shitfit, or something of that nature.

Yeah I agree--you can't say much about the image quality because it's video, but the animations seems a bit weak. Check out the soldier laughing as the main character walks by--looks very mechanical. The main character's walking motion is also too repetitive, like an animated gif. His foot is doing a funky dance when he's paused on the step, too. Not impressed.

Crap! and I'd actually wanted to give this game a shot :(
Mercenaries 2 is a pretty big fail to come out of... considering the fails weren't limited to its uninspired graphics, stupid controls, idiotic story, poor voice acting, bland-to-frustrating gameplay and the down right terrible layout/navigation for the open world.
oh well. scratch this off my list

Same. That's about the only thing about this game that has me hooked. The really cool authentic looking environment. That and also it's a very fresh take on your average WWII game.

Character animations and how they're seated looks awfully stiff and unnatural. Graphics look good but not impressive.
I do want to play the game b/c it sounds different though. Hopefully they do a good job on it.
