Pokemon remakes break a million in two days

The number three spot belongs to Tomodachi Collection, also on the DS, followed by Dragon Quest IX, PS3's Gundam Senki, and Wii Sports Resort. The only other new game in the top ten is MAPLUS Portable Navi 3, a PSP map/navigation program.

Actually from the comments I've been reading, they really are. Everyone seems to be raving about how well done and polished the game is. So many quality of life changes add up.
Not to mention it's a remake of fucking Gold and Silver.

Following up on the report, it seems as though the virus is highly contagious to people that already have the "No Duh Disease", also know as NDD. It has been predicted that it will only get worse when Dragon Warrior or Gundam game is released. Back to you, Cap.

2. A year later, add a few features and release a third version.
3. Create a hundred new Pokemon, update the graphics, and release two 'new' games.
4. Pick an older game in the series and remake it.
5. Repeat the process.

Its not logical to remake the special editions. Just combine the features of the original version and special version in the remake of that Pokemon Generation.
