Pokemon remakes break a million in two days

Should I get silver since I had silver before, or should I change to gold now? Also, will my silver cart still have data on it or will the battery have died inside the cart?

I'm surprised, that with such a large market, the numbers were that close together. 723,000 to 720,000? Personally, I don't know which one I would've gone with. I like Soul's cover, but the Heart version appeals to me a lot to. Which one would you guys get?

I'm getting soul silver day one. G/S/C are by far the best in the series.

Okay, as an ex-pokemon finatic (about five years ago, the last pokemon game I got was Ruby), and having vowed never to play Pokemon again, I may just have to pick this up. It was by far the best, I played this one every da like crazy, I had about 50 level 100's and 2 shinies excluding red gyrados (that might have been Ruby, I don't remember). If/when this comes out in the US, I will pick it up on day one dispite the risk of losing all social status I have gained throughout my High School years.

How have the oher Pokemon games done? Is this a first for the series? Over a million in two days is almost unfathomable.

Greatest Pokemon Games ever? Yes. I think so.

Ok, so I just grabbed a DSi, since I found a site that had a good enough deal to make me actually want it, but I'm curious now. Is the DSi region locked? I remember hearing the original wasn't, but saw something saying the DSi was; and I really want to play this, even if I can't understand it... >_>
