This show is a doozy, folks. Not only do we go through the normal motions -- news, games, fanmail, etc -- but we do it all while having fun with our new soundboard. And, before all is said and done, we cap the show off with an announcement that will change the show forever. We don't want to oversell it, but this might be the single most important document ever recorded. You should probably download a copy right now.

Not to sound like a jerk (love the show) but...

After listening to the past 10 episodes I have one question: Why don't you guys have any interest in Modern Warfare 2? Not even in Call Of Duty 4, all I hear about is Halo 3 and Gears (when your talking about multiplayer games)

It comes up in news. Dustin is usually playing Gears and Halo, that's why it gets brought up.

I'll talk about it when I play the game.

Personally, I'm not big on realistic war shooters. I *really* liked Modern Warfare though, and I played it for quite a while. The truth is I don't really play *any* multiplayer games for an extended period of time.

I'm looking forward to MW2. I know the campaign will be incredible, and I know the multiplayer will be great too.

Just for reference, I don't play Halo 3 anymore and I never even bought Gears 2.

Fair enough.

I guess my Call Of Duty fanboism is shining through, along with my love for multiplayer.

Spending so much time on the xbox.com Modern Warfare 2 forums makes you want to hear every new bit of information that is released to be discussed. (el oh el)

Xav and Richard, count me in for some Hardcore Team deathmatch for sure.

I haven't encountered the announcement yet, but it seems like with so many people in the beloved video game journalism industry leaving post for another gig...It's a matter of Who rather then What.

Either way, love the fancast, and I didn't know you guys could get stuff from Sub-Pop! Since this is the case, you guys should play something from Fleet Fox's self-titled debut. I personally like "Tiger Mountain Peasent Song" and think it would be a great song for everyone else to hear.

Also, you guys should play that song from the band M4 that plays at the end of Mass Effect during the credits, I luuuuuuuuuuuvvvvvvvv that song!

Man this sucks, i dont agree with any of the opinions of Alexander or Xav, Richard sometimes but i have to say i always sided with Dustin. Also never appreciated all the young jokes they took at you. Those were cheap shots. Gears forever, and ill see you on ODST firefight.

You'll be missed Dustin, I always felt bad for you when Knuckles bullied you :(

You mentioned the action figure with the purchase of ODST at Toys R Us in the podcast. I brought it home and got it out of its plastic sarcophagus and my son barely just looked at it and both arms broke off. I expected better from McFarlane Toys. Live and learn. I won't be buying my kids any McFarlane toys again.

I know: "quit bitching, it was "free,'" but really, nothing's free. Somewhere in the cost for my game, I paid for that plastic piece of crap and it promptly broke. Tonight, my son will be pestering me to Krazy Glue that thing together and it'll have two or three fewer moving parts.

Damn it sucks that Dustins leaving :(

But now the search for a replacement must begin! My vote goes to Jake Reardon from episode 133 :D

First time poster, but seeing the clif hanger ending that can only be compared to 24....
