We're not opposed to colors splashed on our favorite accessories, but a new Xbox 360 controller spotted online at EB Games is making us change your minds. Discovered by Chip Chick, this black and red abomination combines the sleek design of Microsoft's controller with a design only a color-blind person would find appealing. If its lack of style* isn't enough, the controller -- which is bundled with a charger -- will set gamers back $70. We'll stick with our solid colors, thank you very much.
*If you happen to enjoy the controller's design, we apologize ... for your lack of taste. Ba-Zing!

I actually like it. It's not going to knock anyone's socks off, but then most custom controllers aren't that good in the first place either.
The good thing about having this controller, is that if it is yours, no one else can say it is there . . . and apparently from most of the posts here, no one else would be seen dead with it anyway.

I would prefer not wasting my money on that and getting the limited edition covenant controller instead on ebay.

I have the red Elite, and even this controller wouldn't match it. It looks like a Swatch watch.

If I saw this thing in person, and the person who bought it, I'd first laugh and tell him (s)he's an idiot and then I'd proceed to talking it and burning it. Send that thing back where it came from!

Were I in the market for a new controller, I'd pick this up at the $30-35 price I can get other controllers for online, but not twice that. I do think it looks kind of cool, especially the differently colored analog sticks.

I just bought an Xbox Security Kit to my system. I live on campus and wanted something that would lock it down, http://newpcgadgets.com/products/xbox/index.html
