For those looking for just one more way to celebrate the release of Halo 3: ODST, we've got some good news. A premium ODST theme is available now on Xbox Live Marketplace. The theme obviously offers up some art from Halo 3: ODST, but also lets you surround the poor souls on your friends list with menacing Brutes. Best of all, the theme is free for Gold members (unlike the grotesquely expensive Sgt. Johnson). Go ahead, add it to your download queue and complete the ODST experience.
Be sure to check out Joystiq's Halo 3: ODST Review, as well as in-depth analysis of the Campaign and Firefight games modes -- and our new miniFAQ!

I'll stick with my L4D one. It's pretty rad and it was free too.

Yeah, it was in OXM. I'm surprised it hasn't come up as a paid premium theme though, it's really good.

Is there any real reason they don't want to let firefight be open to online matching? that would be my only (please change for more fun)

Too bad it's for Gold Members only. And yeah, I've got a Gold Account, but MS thinks I'm fucking 8 or something (around the time when I made the email address) and even though I've changed the fucking email, they still won't change my age to +18. WTF? So apparently a Halo ODST theme is too mature. Thanks ESRB.

This was a while ago, but when I turned 18 I remember going to my profile on xbox.com and upgrading my account from a child account to an adult account. It didn't cost anything, and I don't know if you still have to do that, but...

I snagged it before I came on here. Quite disappointing, if I may say so myself. It's not a creative looking one like my Castle Crashers and Batman: Arkham Asylum themes. Regardless, it's free. So who cares?

I agree. This theme seems kind of stagnant to me. But then again, it's free :)

This will tide me over until I can get the Fallout 3 one that is free to DLC owners.
