Sure Uncharted 2 hasn't come out yet. But Naughty Dog's Amy Hennig is seeing a bright and very long future for the franchise. Speaking with the PlayStation.Blog, the studio's creative director mentions that the story of Nathan Drake and co. doesn't end with Among Thieves. "[Uncharted 2] doesn't conclude the story at all. The expectation with Uncharted is that it can be an ongoing franchise as long as people want more of it. All these stories are self-contained. You don't have to play the last one to play this one. Obviously, you're going to get a little bit more out of it if you have. But [Nathan Drake]'s going to have a lot of adventures, thank god."
We can already see the early reviews of Uncharted 3 being written. You can watch the rest of the interview after the break.
Some of the best looking people have the least talent and vice versa. Look at Freddie Mercury, he was one of the most talented artists (IMO) ever. Then look at the Jonas Brothers.
Uhh... You know what I mean... Not to me... I-.... Leave me alone. Ok then, look at... I keep thinking Paris Hilton but she is ugly as well as untalented... Hmm... Ok, then look at Lady GaGa as an example.
"I never really have been TOO interested in Ratchet and Clank, mainly cause I'm not interested in platformers (With the exception of LBP and Mario) but this actually looks cool."
you're either gay or delusional if you think megan fox isn't good looking. untalented is up in the air (i think she is), but her hotness is undisputed.
It's not undisputed, I'm disputing it (and I'm not the only one). I don't think her looks are anything special, even when she's modeling. I'm sorry, I prefer women with actual curves and with something more than a teenage body type. While I can't say she's unattractive, I will say I think she's way overrated and takes herself way too seriously.
You called her "THAT" which is so disrespectful it's not even funny. Who gives a shit what the person looks like or what gender they are? This is about the game and the people that poured their heart and soul into making it happen not if they are hot or not. Fucking immature douchebag.
It's Naughty Dog. Along with Insomniac Games, when the PS4 comes out, they're just each going to come up with a new, innovative, fun IP that will justify any shortcomings the system may possibly have. That's just what they do.
Uncharted 2 looks like the best exclusive title coming this holiday season. Unfortunately, it will be outsold significantly by ODST, and by Forza 3, and by Left 4 Dead 2. (Not to mention the big multiplatforms like Modern Warfate and Brutal Legend).
I'm hoping sales volume will at least be good enough that they can proceed directly to development of Uncharted 3, and that the franchise doesn't end up in Dead Space limbo.
Yeah, Uncharted 1 sold millions, and it wasn't even a launch title. There's some epic buzz around this one and given that we know Naughty Dog can pull off a winner, I expect the sales to reflect that.
odst and l4d2 are 360 exclusive console wise, brutal legend is a genre on its own, but you're right about MW2, both shooters. it shall be an interesting final quarter if i do say so myself
@Chris I agree with you, I was talking about total sales for Brutal Legend.
@Wiizer You must be seeing my stupid horse avatar, that's not what I'm seeing. I thought it was funny for 15 minutes, then the meme got stale. I tried to switch back to my avatar, but Joystiq's retarded software ensures that the memories recur forever like a tattoo that you end up regretting.
I have no doubt that the game will be awesome, but I think it was wrong for Playstation Magazine to give it a 21 out of 20. To say a game (especially a PS3 exclusive) is ABOVE perfect in a PS3 only magazine is not right. That's either arrogant or just complete bias; either way, doesn't work.
10/10's but never an 11/10. I can't think of a single other game that's gotten above the highest available score- even on OXM it says 11= unicorn; but they've never given it, and doubt they will.
