Sure Uncharted 2 hasn't come out yet. But Naughty Dog's Amy Hennig is seeing a bright and very long future for the franchise. Speaking with the PlayStation.Blog, the studio's creative director mentions that the story of Nathan Drake and co. doesn't end with Among Thieves. "[Uncharted 2] doesn't conclude the story at all. The expectation with Uncharted is that it can be an ongoing franchise as long as people want more of it. All these stories are self-contained. You don't have to play the last one to play this one. Obviously, you're going to get a little bit more out of it if you have. But [Nathan Drake]'s going to have a lot of adventures, thank god."
We can already see the early reviews of Uncharted 3 being written. You can watch the rest of the interview after the break.
All 3. Fallout GOTY in mid october, MGS4 is greatest hit, and uncharted can be found for greatest hit price too. Either way you can go wrong. All 3 deserved to be played.

Although I own, love and would recommend all three, I reckon you should rent Uncharted, and buy the other two. You can go through Uncharted in a couple of nights easily (it's awesome though), The other games offer a bit more longevity, with MGO and Fallout 3 being generally long...
It obviously depends on your tastes but Fallout 3 seemed under developed and overall slow and frustrating to me. Both MGS4 and Uncharted have much better production values, much more fun core gameplay, and in my opinion much better games.
All three are great games, but I would start with Uncharted and MGS4 since they are both PS3 exclusives and demonstrate the console very well. It will make you feel good about getting the new system and prove it does have something substantial to offer you.
I loved the first one. I was pleasantly surprised by the Multiplayer Demo for 2, with features like the ability to watch matches you played and take screenshots. I haven't had any "omg just die already!" moments like I thought I would. It is just fun. The twitter support is pretty dang cool too.
If they added Online Multiplayer for #2, what will they add for #3?
Naughty Dog are the best developer in the business. No tribal tattoo bicep flexing shit, no self indulgent stupid countdowns, just talented people making incredible games.
if a third of ps3 owners (considering the recent boom) purchase this game it will be a mega-hit. naughty dog deserves it. the first uncharted was wonderful (i've just recently played it) and i'm sure this improves in many ways. high hopes.
@ snake i never questioned her talent , but if you feel you must defend everyone you don't know. did you read & comprehend what the comment was about.before you replyed.
@asshole johnny5 where the insult , i did not know that question someone age was an insult. if we all had standards then we would not be wasting our time at site's like this now would we.
Yea, but I'm really far into uncharted now, and there's not a lot that could suddenly make it better than those games. It comes close, but both the Orange Box and Bioshock are more immersive and overall more fun, imo. You're right though, I'm a douchebag for liking different games than you, and I'm trying to kill your fun by having a different opinion than you.
