'RE5: Director's Cut' to feature Jill, voice of Jill spills

Well, maybe featuring Jill is not quite accurate -- "it's gonna be, uh, at least, somewhat involving Jill Valentine," confirms voice of Jill, Patricia Ja Lee, fresh from recording new voice and perhaps mocap work for Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut. That's right: Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut. It seems that P.J. Lee has also inadvertently announced a new, more twisting, more turning version of RE5 in the works.

What else do we know? "It's some good scenes." Catch the full blab after the break.

I wonder if the PC will get this Director's Cut or its a Sony exclusive. Capcom has heavily supported the PC recently, with many of its ports being the best, definitive versions like Devil May Cry 4, Street Fighter 4, Resident Evil 5, etc.

It wasn't a random change. It was actually documented as being a change in pigmentation as a result of the experimentation she underwent. It you check the computer terminal after the cut scene where the pod you think Jill is in opens, it tells you right there. It's not like Jill decided to go frost her hair or something.

to think I was going to buy RE: 5 at launch seems like buying ANY game these days at launch is a mistake when devs and publisher love playing games with the people who make them rich and could easily destroy them. Keep doing this shit and just watch your sales go down. Not only do you hurt the game but also DLC doesnt sell aswell.

It SHOULD mean no new "definitive" retail versions with added content, that's just fucking annoying (unless in the case of something like Fallout 3 GOTY I guess).

Hmm, first of all, I wouldn't mind waking up and finding that tasty specimen in my bed but with that being said, I may just pick this up.
I found myself playing RE5 relentlessly after initially not thinking I would want this game, since it just seemed like a retread with updated graphics, then playing the demo and thinking, "Uhh, I think I'm going to buy this game."

I traded mine in after a minor conflict within once I stopped trying to get all the extras in the game, after finishing it, of course, and hadn't played it in a while. I kinda regret trading in my RE5, to this day.

They've already been trained as voice actors and stunt people, so they're good to go for doing so in video games now. Heh first Star Wars: The force unleashed and now Resident Evil 5? I'm glad, I don't buy all games right away anymore or else I'll feel ripped off and stupid. The funny thing is, just like the Force Unleashed, I was about to go pick up a used copy of the game at gamestop only to hear that a new version is coming out!
